Far be it from me to be a “grumpy gus” as it were. But, am I the only one that is finding trouble making sense of the posts made by “Mansur”?

I can’t exactly put my finger on it- and I’ll be the first to admit not being in my favorite mood of all time this week.

So I’ll wait until it’s more clear to me.

Here is Observer’s post from earlier- for reference.
I would like my peers to have a chance to peer review and Chat publicly about this "ever increasing parallax" Tychos contribution of mine which my teacher Simon has (in my humble opinion) mistakenly "mis-read" and repeatedly claimed was incorrect.

I feel over 100 hours of visuals deserve 1 minute of scrolling while pondering the possible validity. Is it possible someone here can help explain to Simon what I discovered.

I absolutely stake my reputation and my membership on the fact respected members like Hoi Polloi, Nonhocapito, Flabbergasted, Fbenario, IC Freely, PianoRacer, HonestlyNow, SacredCowSlayer, and others, will agree "ever increasing parallax" is logical:

Dear Simon - my brother, my teacher, my modest genius friend and honest fellow thinker:

As you honestly admitted in your letter to me, you had indeed 'misread' my first five visuals. They were all correct from the start, and I'm confident you'll understand and appreciate with gratitude the logic and beauty of Tychos ever increasing parallax now.

Since you currently are confident this "ever increasing parallax" Tychos contribution of mine is incorrect, and want to delete/hide it, first in the spirit of open intellectual honesty CluesForum long-term respected members like Hoi Polloi, Nonhocapito, Flabbergasted, Fbenario, IC Freely, PianoRacer, HonestlyNow, SacredCowSlayer, and others, can voice their opinions casually in Chat about whether this "ever increasing parallax" statement is correct or not.

Alrighty then. So, our new prospective member has finally replied to the seemingly simple questions presented by me, Simon, and Dani.

He says:

I don't know any alleged victims: Not even at our 22/7. I do however find it hard to beleive they could have fake all the victims coming from small societies.

Globe/Space: Observations makes the offcial size of the globe impossible! I don't support any model!

Coded media: I do beleive the "system" is comunicating through media with many teqniques.

Jet fuel: They are claiming it's massive amount of jet A1 fuel in the wings and fuselage. You need to study an airplane close-up and watch the re-fooling act to understand.

Short and sweat answers!?

Futuresnorway is because i do a little S&P500 trading in the futurescontract market.

When served in the military as a paramedic, we used to trained mass casulties situations! When you have skilled crisis-actors is almost impossible to deside fake or real! I do try to look after clues when i see events!
I suppose an earth shape agnostic, or undecided maybe, is fine, so long as he does not suddenly “become enlightened” to the “truth about flat earth,” and proclaim it to the forum- and all that entails.

Simon, I think we both share the same concern there- but, so long as he’s not posting about that, I don’t much care.

I’m even less enthused about his spelling, and the odd-ball reference to mass casualty training in the military. As if these so-called “crisis actors” are somehow convincing, such that we just can’t know the truth.

All that said, I don’t object to letting this one through.

Maybe he will surprise us and be decent. And if not, we are more than capable of handling him.
_____________

Dani, feel free to let me know what you think. And please don’t be too quick to shoot him down. :)
Understand that sometimes we can benefit by letting the “iffy” ones in- even if for a brief time.

I look forward to your feedback, and also your upcoming post following the tremendous ones made by ICfreely and Kham re viruses.

Love,

Hmmm, the post display order has become reversed, when logged in. Only when logged in.

(And search.php?search_id=active_topics page is suddenly "not permitted" when logged in.)

(And pages like search.php?&author=ICFreely is suddenly "not permitted" when logged in.)

[Note to myself for cathartic reasons (SCS): Oh, Observer doesn’t find CF to be suitable for its trolling/shilling convenience. Like I give a flying F*%k.]

Dear Cluesforum,

I think that there are just some occasions where the HEALTHY thing to do in a given environment is to agree to disagree. In particular, I am (perhaps) even more inclined towards this approach when the people involved are generally in agreement on other topics.

In this case (from what I can see), the other “topics” of agreement include sub-topics (e.g. vaccinations, radiation, chemotherapy, etc.) of the same (i.e. “Engineering Disease”). Unfortunately (for whatever reason), despite my naive optimism that this ongoing snit would fizzle out, it continues to plague this forum.

I’m going to restate something I’ve said before, but with slightly different phraseology, with the hopes that it will do some good. Surely this forum can handle differences of taste, opinion, and yes. . . varying levels of open mindedness about a sticky topic like “disease.” What we cannot handle is more than one member having to get the last word in about something that has been exhaustively covered by each “side” ad nauseam.

I consider each (non banned) Member that has expressed his and her opinion (and position, with a range of evidence and support already set out for any reader to decide. . . or be UNDECIDED, for himself) on this topic to be valuable and important to the ongoing research here. So, this is NOT me taking a side, well. . . except for the side of Cluesforum.

As a primary Administrator here (along of course with Simon), I feel like it’s time for me to interject, and try to bring about some stability. I have held back from doing much about this, as I quietly hoped that the bickering would lose momentum, and we could move on in a far more constructive manner.

In recent weeks I have been receiving emails from previously active and valuable members lamenting the near stand-still that has set in. Sure, I TRY my best to simply encourage positive contribution that would (hopefully) bring an end to the present “funk” that seems to exist here. But that’s (almost) all I can do. That is, set a good example, and encourage others to do the same.

____________________________

Additionally, I want our members to understand something very important that they may (or may not?) be aware of. That is, we have untold predators who are itching to find even the slightest crack in the seams here to pry at. And that is on a “regular” day.

I’m sure they would be thrilled to see this fine forum devolve under the weight of what amounts to a (virtual) Food Fight.

Simon and I (and other Admins) get hit with waves of contact by strange and largely unknown entities with agendas that we are only left to speculate about (should we even have the luxury of the time to do that).

Much of what we deal with is not even visible to our members and readers. And that is for good reason. We try (using our best judgment) to limit how much of that is opened up for discussion here, given that these nefarious creatures most definitely monitor everything that goes on here.

If I had known (just 24 hours ago) this flare-up was coming, I would most definitely have not rescheduled the Skype conference that Simon and I have been trying to set up.

I am going to kindly request that this topic be dropped for now. If it (i.e. “Engineering Disease”) was still open for discussion, then the topic wouldn’t be locked. And we aren’t going to unlock it simply because Admin action was IGNORED in the Chatbox. That’s not how this works.

I’m open to constructive ideas, but it’s not going to happen like that. Moreover, rehashing the same things over and over isn’t something we just allow to continue, regardless of the topic. Sure, there’s room for posting an “oldie but goodie,” or trying to clarify a previous point. That’s fine.

We have all done it, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But, there comes a point when we can all (essentially) predict who is going to post what. The points of contention on the “Engineering Disease” topic have been made.

The next time Simon and I talk, we will discuss this and whether changes can or need to be made to accommodate this reoccurring topic. An Administrator will undoubtedly announce this if and when it happens.

Until then, I sincerely appreciate (in advance) the understanding and cooperation from our Members.

Yours Truly,

Simon,

Thank you for recognizing my efforts, and for your sincere gratitude.

I’m now trying to figure out whether it’s even possible to moderate the forum, given the present dynamics.

I fear that a fair number of otherwise valuable members have “sidelined” themselves in recent days.

Here is to hoping that our present members will take responsibility for themselves and try to facilitate a hospitable environment for the others.

Now that I think of it- and Dani might smack me for suggesting such a thing- but, perhaps we do need to let in some trolls and shills, just so our members will effing appreciate the work we do.

Nah, that too is probably naive of me.

Open Registration? No, that would just be that much more work for us.

Hmmm.

Welp- I’m at a loss.

[Admin Reminder (SCS) to self: DON’T be an ass.]
caran25 » January 28th, 2019, 6:41 am wrote:Admin Notice by SCS: I have taken the liberty of correcting some typos, and inserting paragraph breaks. Please try and use a bit more care with your posts. I know this is tedious to do, and I’m not unsympathetic about that. Thank you in advance. :)]

You have GOT to be joking. As an ex English teacher I am perfectly capable of stringing two words together without 'typos' and am equally more than capable of creating logical paragraphs. Good grief and good bye!
I believe it is you who must be joking. One doesn’t need to be an “ex English teacher” to post here. You aren’t helping your case either. I’m leaving your post (properly quoted above) just how you put it.

The previous one (that I edited) did in fact have several typos (your ability to string “two words together without typos” notwithstanding), and the paragraph breaks were needed for improved readability. You may be an “ex teacher,” but you don’t have to be an ex learner.

In any event, you should probably become familiar with how to use the quote function. It’s okay to ask questions teacher. Nobody is going to make fun of you. Just be sure to do so in a calm and respectful manner.

Now, take some time to collect yourself, and please come back when you can handle the slightest bit of constructive feedback.

It was you who requested to join this forum. Remember? And your “attendance” is anything but compulsory. But, if you are going to post here, you must be able to follow the requests of the Admins/Mods such as myself.

If you can’t (or won’t) do that, then it is I who will be saying “good bye” to you. Got it?
