Passengers photos look terrible. Similar to those of 9/11 sims.

I agree as well.
New Zealand aviation expert Peter Clark said he believed Captain Zaharie may have been responsible.

"This had to be a pilot or somebody with expert knowledge, who had to know what they were doing to complete this," Mr Clark said.

"It had to be somebody with immense knowledge ... the co-pilot would not have the capability of doing this. It's a takeover of the aircraft, it can only be the pilot."
He said Mr Fariq was "too inexperienced" to carry out the takeover - it was his first flight as co-pilot without a third pilot in the cockpit overseeing him.

Mr Clark said it would have been very simple for the pilot to reprogramme the flight management computer to fly a new course.

"All you need to do is fly it to high altitude, de-pressurise the aircraft, you kill everybody on-board including yourself and you have the flight management programmed in and it just continues to fly to the South Indian Ocean until it runs out of fuel."
Really? Well why was this not the assumption and the narrative from the beginning? If only a pilot could perform these maneuvers, shouldn't that have been known from the start of this fiasco? Why was there any speculation whatsoever about terrorists and passports?
But Mr Clark said it would be very hard to prove it was pilot suicide even if the data recorders were found.
So why bother with all the conjecture then? <_<
The voice recorder would have been overwritten every two hours and the flight recorder would most likely record that the plane was operating normally and crashed because it ran out of fuel.
Convenient. What good is a flight recorder on a $200-300 million dollar airplane that records over itself every two hours? EVERY TWO HOURS? Some flights are in the range of 17, 18 hours. Am I honestly asked to believe that we don't have technology to record a full flight? Wouldn't that be important?

That Peter Clark clown appears on NZ TV channels as the country's resident aviation expert, whenever there is a major air line disaster.
There was one recent incident (I think it was the aircraft which caught fire in San Francisco), where Clark commented about some of the plane melting.

Families Of Missing Flight Passengers Just Hoping
Media Gets Closure It Needs
“The conflicting reports and numerous remaining unanswered questions have been devastating for them"

http://www.theonion.com/articles/famili ... /?ref=auto

This may be a spoof headline but it conveys how poorly the worldwide media have come out of the whole MH370 charade.
Apart from the inept Malaysian government, who are probably puppets in this unreal saga, the other main group of people to come out of this story with a poorer reputation (if that's possible) is the media.
Like MH370, the media frenzy circus also flew off course many times and got 'lost' in the detail. I think even more people will now question the accuracy of media reports in the future.

If the media, which is tightly controlled by the puppet masters, is not believed, and comes out with a poorer reputation, wouldn't this be a bad case scenario? Or has the hive been agitated and some media persons just giving the proverbial middle finger to those who "control" them?

Seems the more social media grows, the less it can be reigned in. A lot of lies, misinformation and "what TO believe?" How can that be harnessed? How can the masses follow the "official story" when there isn't one? You don't want the masses to start thinking on their own, do you?

Here we go...

From ABC - Australian state media:
Disappearance of flight MH370 to spur new aviation rules

Stephen Wood, chief executive of satellite analytic firm All Source Analysis, said it seemed investigators had narrowed down the area substantially.

"But it's still a big area that they have to search," he said.

The incident is likely to spur a review of aviation rules, especially related to communications equipment and the ability to turn off a plane's transponder, he added.

But Mr Wood, a former US intelligence officer (Surprise! :o not... ) who headed satellite imagery firm DigitalGlobe until July 2013, said it is too early to say what that would entail because it remains unknown what caused the plane to divert from its original course.
Also, directly following this, another headline:
Additional tracking system could cost as little as $10 a flight

Inmarsat said for a relatively low cost, its satellites could keep tabs on flights and provide the data exchanged between the air and the ground to help organise routes to save time and fuel.

The system is used in planes in the North Atlantic, Inmarsat's vice-president for aeronautics, David Coiley, said earlier this month, but it is not commonly used in all parts of the world.
Inmersat is the corporation claiming to have finally tracked the plane:
Malaysia Airlines MH370: British satellite company Inmarsat studied missing plane's pings to plot final route

Britain's Inmarsat used a wave phenomenon discovered in the 19th century to analyse the seven pings its satellite picked up from Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 to determine its final destination.

The new findings led Malaysian prime minister Najib Razak to conclude the Boeing 777, which disappeared more than two weeks ago, crashed thousands of miles away in the southern Indian Ocean, killing all 239 people on board including six Australians.
All articles here at this link: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-03-25/b ... ro/5342690

As Hoi suggested earlier in the thread, it seems Malaysia may be being 'pursuaded' to join the satellite/space club.

Could this whole op come down to what amounts to a simple protection racket? That is:

'Use our systems and adopt our technology, or be made to look like corrupt fools by our media division while your people demand reforms that the advanced, space faring nations take for granted.' Or something like that :(

Might be worth looking into these men, Stephen Wood of All Source Analysis and David Coiley, vice-president for aeronautics at Inmarsat. It might throw up some interesting leads and connections.

Haha, this is a quote from the All Source Analysis website mentioned in my post above:
A picture may be worth a thousand words, but in the hands of an expert who can provide context and intelligence, it is priceless.
That could be the tagline for September Clues!

It's not exactly difficult to guide Twitter to your goal way of thinking.

Do you remember how it took off in a flurry of mob lynching last winter:

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/d ... ca-apology
A woman sacked as communications director of the New York-based internet empire InterActive Corp for having made a puerile tweet that linked Aids with race, has issued an apology to the “millions of people living with the virus”.

Justine Sacco, the dismissed head of corporate communications for Barry Diller's company, issued a contrite statement on Sunday to the Star newspaper in South Africa where she has travelled to be with her family over the holiday season. It was during the 11-hour flight from London to Cape Town that she became the latest example of the power of Twitter to destroy those who cause offense through unthinking use of the social media site.

Shortly before she boarded the flight on Friday she tweeted:

Going to Africa. Hope I don't get AIDS. Just kidding. I'm white!

In her statement, the PR executive said that she was in “anguish knowing that my remarks have caused pain to so many people” in South Africa where she was born and where her father still lives. "Words cannot express how sorry I am, and how necessary it is for me to apologize to the people of South Africa, who I have offended due to a needless and careless tweet.”

She added: “There is an AIDS crisis taking place in this country, that we read about in America, but do not live with or face on a continuous basis. Unfortunately, it is terribly easy to be cavalier about an epidemic that one has never witnessed firsthand.”

Sacco turned into a notorious Twitter superstar while she was in the air. During her long flight to South Africa, unbeknownst to her, she became an internet phenomenon – the offending remark was retweeted over 2,000 times.

By the time she disembarked her ignorant comment on Aids had been picked up by Buzzfeed, gone viral on Twitter with the hashtag #HasJustineLandedYet trending, and Sacco was in deep trouble. She deleted her offending tweet and her entire Twitter account soon after landing, but by then it was already too late.

On Saturday IAC, which owns internet ventures such as the Daily Beast, Ask.com, Dictionary.com and Match.com dismissed her for what it called her “hateful statements”. Though the company added that it hoped that “time and action, and the forgiving human spirit, will not result in the wholesale condemnation of an individual who we have otherwise known to be a decent person at core."

Interesting segments from Australia's '60 Minutes' TV program on the MH370 disappearance, shown last night in Oz.
Check out 12:00 into the video where Danica Weeks, wife of MH370 "victim" Paul Weeks, tells how she first knew of the planes disappearance when she was contacted by a newspaper reporter who told her that there had been an "Incident with the plane". The question is, how would a 'reporter' be able to know all about the "incident" and then be able to contact Danica way before the airline authorities? Where would the 'reporter' have got her name and contact details from?
Then follows Danica going into a highly emotive state and apparently breaking down on camera. Trouble is, no matter how hard Danica tries, there appear to be no real tears showing in her deep sorrow. What an amazing performance!

Earlier in the video at 6:15 Amanda Lawton, daughter of "victims" Catherine and Robert Lawton states that her mother was very nervous about taking that very flight......as far back as November last year!

An old actor's trick at about 12:00 in above video.

You often see these fakers do this with their hand ...
Image
... just before they start to "cry."

This is to bring the mentholated salve they previously put on the inside of their hand up to their eyes to make the eyes tear up and the nose run.

Some other fake crying tips here.

It would be interesting to see if the ISS shows up in the app. :D
I am told such "plane finder" applications are limited to commercial airliners. For obvious reasons, military aircraft and "special purposes" subcontractor aircraft (of which there seem to be many) are not shown.
cough cough MH370
Something like this? http://www.flightradar24.com which gives real-time ADS-B data on flight paths.

There's a similar tracking system for shipping: http://www.shipfinder.co

It uses AIS - a module combining GPS and a VHF transponder - and is obligatory under international maritime law, for all shipping over 300 gross tonnage, and all passenger vessels.

Image

Since all sea-faring vessels much bigger than an airbed have to have working AIS, you've got to seriously wonder how the MV Arctic Sea (3,988 gt) - managed to "disappear" from the English Channel - one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world!
"It doesn't look like bog standard piracy. If it's standard piracy, where's the ransom?" said David Osler, industrial editor at maritime newspaper Lloyds List, who raised the Russian mafia possibility.

He suggested it might have been part of a "drugs deal gone wrong", noting the hijackers' claim to be anti-drugs police and their search of the ship.

"Another possibility is a hijack to order. You steal the ship, respray it and sell it on," he told AFP. "But the ship was built in 1991. Who would go to the trouble of hijacking that to order?"

I heard from a Canadian friend that coverage of the missing plane is limited in Canada and Europe and people are wondering why it continues to be big news in the US. Still 2 stories on NBC today bring the total now to 431! Latest is the director of Lord of the Rings has offered his private jet to the cause. Is the US audience being specifically targeted? If so, why?
