Inmate Dima Danilov, 22, said the suspect’s face was covered with a red towel when he arrived at the jail about two hours after 12 people were killed and 58 injured in the Aurora, Colo., multiplex.

Holmes — who had dyed his hair red — was also wearing red clothing beneath the black body armor that terrified moviegoers saw when he opened fire early Friday morning, Danilov said.

Jail guards “blacked out his windows with duct tape so no one could see him,” said Danilov. “He was cuffed in the back and had leg shackles.”

They were purportedly "quoting" recently released inmates (conveniently) ;)

Their "murderer's" next court date is supposed to be at 9:30 this morning — any bets on 'photojournalists' being there to take 'pictures'? :P

Maybe she's hoping for a part in the Batwoman movie. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/5030518.stm

Hmm...

"The latest Batman adventure will see the Caped Crusader take on al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.

Comic book artist Frank Miller is midway through writing Holy Terror, Batman, which sees Batman defending Gotham City from a terrorist attack.

"It is, not to put too fine a point on it, a piece of propaganda," said Miller at a US comic book convention.

The veteran writer called it "a reminder to people who seem to have forgotten who we're up against".

He said the story was "an explosion from my gut reaction of what is happening now".

Honourable tradition

Batman has typically faced off fictional villains including Catwoman, the Penguin and the Riddler, but this is the first time he will have confronted a real-life threat.

However, Miller - who revived Batman's popularity some 20 years ago with The Dark Knight Returns - said using comic book heroes for propaganda was an honourable tradition.

"Superman punched out Hitler. So did Captain America. That's one of the things they're there for," Miller said.

Batman returned to the big screen last year in the prequel Batman Begins, starring Christian Bale? and Katie Holmes?"

Ah, but he abandoned that idea...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holy_Terro ... c_novel%29
Holy Terror is a graphic novel by Frank Miller[1] which follows a superhero named the Fixer as he battles Muslim terrorists after an attack on Empire City. Miller has described the book as "a piece of propaganda",[2] and claimed that it is "bound to offend just about everybody."[3]

The book was originally proposed as Holy Terror, Batman! in 2006 but is no longer a project associated with the Batman character or DC Comics. Miller explained in 2010, "It’s no longer a DC book. I decided partway through it that it was not a Batman story."[4]
Got a revision & rewrite for an Elseworlds one-shot comic by two different authors:

i posted the link to the little girl pic and repeated the abnormalities quoted and got this reply....

You are grasping at straws, Her neck is of a completely normal length, the colouring on her neck is normal - could be shadow, uneven lighting, uneven tan, the pencil is not visible through her thumb, it is just a bit of glare. I am a photographer and a photoshop wizard. This pic is not photoshopped. It is a grainy, blurry cell phone pic that to the best of my knowledge and experience is completely untouched.

Oh really! Whom did you ask to get that reply? They must have serious eyesight problems then. <_<

I lightened the gamma levels only to see it better:

Still looks like a badly shooped image of a kid with a deformed neck, wrist and transparent fingers ('glare' on the pinky too? :P).

And Fotoforensics shows the original's ELA as totally black!: http://fotoforensics.com/analysis.php?i ... 79f5.38529

James Eagen Holmes Shown In Science Camp Video When He Was 18, Discussing 'Temporal Illusions'.
A 6-year-old video shows Colorado shooting suspect James Holmes as a thin teenager wearing an oversized shirt and occasionally breaking into a slight, shy smile.
ABC News aired the video Sunday showing Holmes speaking at a science camp at Miramar College in San Diego when he was 18.
His presentation is on "temporal illusion," which he defines as "an illusion that allows you to change the past."
He says he studies subjective experience, calling it "what takes place inside the mind, as opposed to the external world."
A woman who introduces Holmes says he wants to become a researcher and make scientific discoveries.
She says his dream is to own a Slurpee machine, eliciting laughter from the audience and a smile from Holmes.

This is supposed to depict "victim" Alex Sullivan on his wedding day last year ( at age 26) :
I guess the one-handed Alex got pretty emotional on that day - which is why he looks about 20 years older than his age. Or perhaps, he suffered from some sort of post-traumatic amputee disorder? (Btw, is there any mention in the press about him having lost his left hand? Or is he supposed to have it slipped inside his trouser pocket?) Also, that sunburn on his bride's back must have hurt. Ouch!

And, of course...
"Holmes Was Inspired By Breivik"
When James Holmes carried out his shooting spree in Aurora, he was dressed exactly as Breivik described in detail in his manifest.

Yep, this is pretty much a "mini-sequel" to the wretched "Breivik" saga. Follows a similar blueprint.

Naturally, they're all pixelated! :P

But regarding Disney creations, it's strange that ABC7 removed the link they had to 'Alex Sullivan's status they had on Twitter <_<

When I searched yesterday for the source of this http://p.twimg.com/AyS5kwFCMAAsdRa.jpg image, the link got a "Sorry, that page doesn't exist" page when clicked from this: https://twitter.com/abc7/statuses/226509922299424769 — and still does.

He was apparently supposed to have two arms, Simon — according to http://www.democratandchronicle.com/art ... /307210056
quoting the script "his relatives":
Alex Sullivan will be remembered for his upbeat personality, big heart and overwhelming hugs. [ :puke: ]
“He would just wrap his arms around me and I was just overcome with how great his hugs were,” said his cousin, Walworth resident Karen Luke. “He just totally enveloped me every time.”

About 25 local relatives of Sullivan, a victim of Friday’s Aurora, Colo., movie theater shootings, are mourning his death.
Although his home was in Colorado, family members said he loved visiting Rochester to spend time with his cousins, aunts and uncles.
“He was very close to his family,” said Sullivan’s uncle, Bob Schwab of Penfield. “Everybody thought he was just a great, big teddy bear.”
...
The family got word of his passing from Alex’s younger sister, Meghan Sullivan.
Schwab said Alex Sullivan, who lived in Aurora, attended the midnight showing of “The Dark Knight Rises” with three or four friends for his 27th birthday.
[but none of them called his dad? ]
...
Sullivan was an employee of the theater, but was a patron Friday. Movies and sports memorabilia were passion he and his father shared.
...
Jim Schwab of Penfield, has fond memories of his cousin coming to visit.
He distinctly remembers Sullivan animatedly waving his arms as the third base coach while playing softball with all of the cousins in Cobbs Hill Park.
