Mansion Murderer Chris Foster, Shropshire, UK, 26/08/2008

This is the forum dedicated to all 'minor' local psyops - phony murders, kidnappings and whatnot. It has now become evident that the news media constantly feeds the public with entirely fake stories - in order to keep us in eternal fear of our next-door neighbours and fellow citizens.

A lot of you may remember this story, and the attention lavished on these events (live) from TV crews and journalists as they unfolded. The TV pictures reminded me of the climax of the Hungerford massacre, also covered in this section.

Image

Millionaire businessman Christopher Foster, who was in deep financial trouble, apparently murdered his wife and daughter, then shot the family's horses and dogs before setting fire to the £1.2million property and turning the gun on himself.

Detectives believe Mr Foster, 50, suffered a breakdown triggered by the collapse of his company, and decided to destroy his family home rather than see it sold off to pay creditors.

This story really tied in with the early stages of the 'credit crunch' very neatly, which rings some alarm bells for me.

"In the end his state of mind must have been, 'If I can't have all this nobody will'," a source said. "He adored his wife and daughter so he must have been in a terrible mental state to do what he did."

Police have now removed all three bodies found in the ruins of Osbaston House, near Oswestry, Shropshire, one of which has been formally identified as Mr Foster's wife Jill, 49, who had been shot in the back of the head.

Tests are expected to confirm the identities of the other two bodies later today, as well as a cause of death. They are thought to be the remains of Mr Foster and the couple's 15-year-old daughter, Kirstie.

Clues

A gun was found in the wreckage which has been identified as a .22 rimfire rifle and was legally owned by Mr Foster.

Spent and unspent gun cartridges were also found scattered around the grounds of the property.

Is it really possible to kill with a .22 rifle? I don't know much about guns but I thought .22s were practically air rifles? I'd be grateful if somebody can elaborate on that.

Image

Are the above guns .22s or something more heavyduty? Why would he use a .22 to kill if more effective weapons were available?

There are also lots of subtle tie-ins with 911...Take the following as an example...

Investigators had to wait three days to get into Osbaston House due to the heat and danger of falling debris.

This image...

Image

...looks more like the aftermath of a truck bomb in Basra than that of a torched mansion...

Then, the following:

Has anybody else noticed that police show a TOTAL disinterest in CCTV footage in relation to day-to-day low level crime, but when it comes to psyops, an international audience gets to see several detailed, dramatic camera shots?

Perps?

Accountant Terence Baines, a former director of Ulva Ltd, said he feared the millionaire may have "just flipped because the pressure of it was too much for him". I cannot source any images of Baines.

Detective Superintendent Jon Groves (above), of West Mercia Constabulary said: "Work has now begun to extricate the third body to allow formal identification and a post-mortem to take place.

Above: Supt Gary Higgins, of West Mercia Constabulary, said Mrs Foster's body was identified through dental records. Incicentally, Higgins retired at the end of September 2011.

Home Office pathologist Dr Alexander Jan Oldrich Kolar told today’s inquest in Shrewsbury there was no evidence he could find that that Christopher Foster died as a result of a gunshot. Kolar appears now to work in Indiana, in the US:

Detective Constable Paul Rogers, of Oswestry CID, had earlier said Christopher Foster claimed to have received threats that his daughter would be kidnapped just days before the fire at his home.

Detective Sergeant Darren Howells told the inquest what emergency services had found when they arrived.

The carnage police found when they finally entered the scene - the blocked gate, shots fired on the front drive, shot horses, shot dogs - was highly unusual. It led them to believe 'someone was trying to tell us something', said DC Paul Beeton, one of the first to get through. They thought the sheer scale of the fire pointed to several people being involved.

Documentary makers and authors: psyop gatekeepers

Unread post by Euphoria »

I see on the Hungerford thread, a poster referencing Jeremy Josephs (a freelance writer who published a book about the event), appeared from a long hibernation on this forum and added some fairly suspicious contributions which brianv reasonably rebutted.

Now, with the Christopher Foster rampage, we have another media industry gatekeeper, it seems. That is, Roger Graef, the documentary maker.

"A Channel 4 documentary team has spoken to Foster's closest family and associates." Or, so who would that be, exactly?

The last time Chris's mum, Enid, had seen them was at Kirstie's 15th birthday party. Chris had merely waved her off in the new car that he'd bought for her - saying: 'Bye Mum, see you.'

This greatly worried his old friend from Wolverhampton, Dave Mitchell. 'I didn't think: "Christ, he's become a gangster." But there must have been some reason why he had a gun in his car. He must have made enemies that he thought would do a hit on him.' (Hahaha. Right)

He bragged about a new £11million deal

Motives behind the Chris Foster psyop

Unread post by Euphoria »

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/ ... quest.html

Unbeknown to his wife he had told his GP he wanted to commit suicide yet was allowed to keep his rifle license, something the coroner said was cause for concern. In his judgement he ruled that GPs should be notified of any patient applying for a gun license so they alert the authorities of any concerns.

Mr Foster’s mother, Enid, and brother, Andrew, called for greater co-operation between GPs and the police to prevent a similar tragedy in the future.

They said: “What has shocked us as a family over the last six months is the failure of different branches of the public service to work together, even when the objective is as essential as the prevention of life-threatening violence.”

And this, from September 2009:

http://www.sportinggun.co.uk/news/39621 ... lders.html

The shooting community is up in arms over a controversial new proposal to electronically tag medical records of gun licence holders.

The British Medical Association (BMA) and Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) have revealed that they are currently discussing ways doctors can be made aware of patients who own firearms.

The discussions were prompted after Mid and North Shropshire coroner, John Ellery, recommended a closer link between the medical profession and firearms enquiry officers.

Mr Ellery recently conducted the inquest into the deaths of Christopher Foster.

Late 2011 propoganda around Chris Foster psyop

Unread post by Euphoria »

From November 2011:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/ ... amily.html

It was a crime that chilled and mystified the nation. On August 26, 2008, Osbaston House – the mansion in Maesbrook, Shropshire, owned by multi-millionaire businessman Christopher Foster – was burnt to the ground. In the days that followed, it emerged that the fire had been started deliberately by Mr Foster. He had shot his wife, Jill, in the head, and shot their 15-year-old daughter, Kirstie. He then shot the family’s horses and dogs – CCTV showed him walking from the stables with a gun, going about his tasks calmly – before setting fire to his home, using 200 gallons of oil. Finally, as the fire took hold, he climbed the stairs of his £1.2 million house to end his life beside Jill on their bed. Such was the intensity of the blaze, it took police six days to find the three bodies.

At first nobody knew why Mr Foster had done it. The businessman who drove Ferraris and lived like a flash country squire appeared to have a loving family. In the days following the tragedy, however, it emerged that his business affairs were in deep financial trouble.

But the story was more complex than a man protecting his family from his business failings. Police interview transcripts from the time, which were leaked to the Telegraph earlier this month, reveal that the police were made aware that Mr Foster, who had a firearms licence, had posed a danger as far back as 2006. Police have now opened a new investigation following complaints from Mr Foster’s brother, Andrew, that Christopher Foster’s firearms licence should have been revoked. Andrew Foster, speaking for the first time since the transcripts were exposed, believes that there was police malpractice on a wider scale.

Andrew has a calm and friendly face and it is only when he talks about the aftermath of the tragedy perpetrated by his brother that the emotional bruising he feels comes to the surface.

“I did feel suicidal last year,” he admits. “There were days when I was trying so hard to get someone to take notice of all the issues surrounding Chris’s death that I thought about going to Osbaston House and hanging myself. Just to get people to recognise what we’ve been through, that there’s a human cost. There are so many unanswered questions.”

Andrew, 49, is a business development manager who lives with his family – Pam, his wife, and two of their three daughters – in a neat house in a Wolverhampton suburb. Where his brother was flamboyant, volatile and overbearing, Andrew is modest and unassuming. He has no financial interest in his brother’s estate, which he says is being fought over by creditors, liquidators and a high-street bank.

I first met him two and a half years ago at the time of the inquest that supported the police investigation with its verdict of murder and suicide – Chris had died of smoke inhalation. Andrew spoke of his bewilderment at his brother’s cataclysmic actions, which he believed to have been prompted by the failure of his business (he had manufactured an insulating material to protect valves in the oil industry), debt amounting to £4 million, and the imminent arrival of the bailiffs. Chris was being treated for depression, Andrew revealed, and was known to be suicidal.

Andrew has spent much of his time since talking to people who knew Chris, and examining paperwork that documented his business and private life. He now believes that his brother’s life was even more complicated than he had thought.

“He owed £2 million but he was actually solvent,” says Andrew. “There were a lot of people ruthlessly pressing his buttons, pursuing him for every penny. He can’t talk to his wife because he’s afraid of her walking away. He’s got the bailiffs coming, he’s got the liquidator on his back, the bank on his back, the Inland Revenue on his back, he’s sold his company. He’s been to his GP, who’s put him on anti-depressants. He’s got nowhere to go. Chris was greedy, he bent the rules, he made some bad business decisions, he didn’t like paying tax. But three people have lost their lives.”

As Andrew told the police in August 2008, he had not seen Chris for four years before his death. They had grown up in Lancashire and Shropshire, their late father was a sales director and the brothers often fought, sometimes physically. As adults they were largely estranged. As Andrew talks about this – with his wife by his side – he makes another disturbing revelation about his brother’s dominant and bullying nature.

“When we were told about the fire, two family liaison officers came to the house. 'When was the last time you saw your brother?’ they asked. I was obviously a suspect. I explained I had very little to do with him. I was honest. I told the officer that when I was 11 and Chris was 15 or 16, Chris told me about the facts of life. This continued on and off and eventually he showed me pornographic magazines with pictures of naked women. After a while he started to sexually abuse me. This would happen at least once a week until I was sexually mature and told him I wouldn’t do what he wanted any more.

“This explains why Chris and I didn’t see each other much as adults. I want people to know the truth. Some people think I was envious of Chris. I never have been. The abuse was about control and I had to break away from him. He always denied it but there was a pattern in Chris’s life and it revolved around controlling other people. I’d see him occasionally but he was rude. At the millennium I wrote to him and said we need to talk about this as adults. He wrote back on bright yellow paper: 'You’ve got to beg and scrape on bended knee to come to me and Jill. I want a written apology.’ He never admitted half the stuff that went on.

“The family liaison officer never finished taking my statement. Stopped, lost interest. From then on we received very little information from the police about the investigation; they turned their backs. We didn’t meet the officer in charge until six weeks after the tragedy. There was nobody to represent me at the inquest. We thought we would get a complete picture then. But we still don’t know why, and we still need to know.”

I ask why he cares so much about a brother who was abusive. Andrew has told me about the time Chris hit Jill in the face; he has learned that Chris had extra-marital affairs. Chris once put his boot through the grill of a car because Andrew refused to park in the space his brother had told him to use.

“Because he was my brother. He was still my brother,” he says, his eyes filling with tears. “I think Chris had a personality disorder. Chris was forceful, powerful, overbearing. He had tremendous drive and vision. But he took risks all the way – financially and in every area of his life. He grafted as a young man and he built up a good business, but he’d over-borrowed and he wanted the trappings and he wanted everything yesterday. The way the probate side is chasing after money has made me realise the extreme pressure he was under. He was close to some police officers – they used to pop into his business for a coffee, and when he was caught driving and talking on his mobile phone they just wagged a finger at him. I think that closeness, and the failure of the police to remove Chris’s firearms, compromised the investigation.”

The police also showed a lack of sympathy towards Chris’s remaining family. Andrew and his mother, Enid, Chris’s closest surviving relatives, learned of West Mercia’s terrible conclusion – that he had shot his wife and daughter and then died of smoke inhalation – not from a supportive police officer but from TV and newspaper reports.

This insensitivity lies at the heart of a 120-page complaint that Andrew has now filed about West Mercia Police. The police investigation was rushed and incomplete, he maintains, and should have done more than focus on Chris Foster’s culpability.

Andrew says West Mercia police knew that Chris Foster had made threats to kill his accountant. Chris had also made threats to kill other business associates, Andrew believes, though it is not clear whether the police knew about these. At one point, according to Andrew, Chris had kept a handgun under the seat of his Ferrari.

“The police are confident that Chris was responsible for the deaths, but the evidence they have presented is inconclusive. I’ve been told by a former police officer that if Chris had been tried for murder, he’d have got off because there wasn’t enough evidence. I think the police realise they messed up on the gun licensing side – Chris threatened people, they should have taken his guns away.

Andrew was also distressed when he realised that a 2009 Channel 4 documentary on the tragedy was sanctioned by the police, who allowed the crew to film at Osbaston House, before Andrew and his mother were consulted. He regards this as a cynical attempt to justify the investigation’s conclusions.

His document catalogues 63 complaints and paints a picture of an emotionally illiterate and self-interested police force operating in a culture of poor communication. Andrew says: “They take everything they need and spit you out. I’ve lost faith in the police. We are a law-abiding family and we always thought we could trust the police, that a support system would be there when you needed it.

“I’m not seeking disciplinary action,” he continues. “If mistakes have been made I just want the police to admit them so that we can learn from this and put preventative measures in place to stop similar gun crimes happening in future.”

Andrew’s complaint has been passed from the Independent Police Complaints Commission to West Mercia Police. “We have received a complaint via the IPCC and are continuing to investigate the points raised,” says a spokesperson for West Mercia. “The deaths of Christopher Foster and his family in Shropshire was one of the most complex and challenging cases West Mercia Police has dealt with.”

Andrew knows that his brother’s story can never have a happy ending. “Looking for answers has become an obsession and at some point I’ll have to park it,” he acknowledges. Last week he visited the 16-acre site where Osbaston House once stood; it has been demolished and the land is to be sold. “It’s our Ground Zero,” he says. “I’m still drawn to it, it’s the closest we can get to the family we’ve lost. I know that there’s a percentage of poor Kirstie still there in rubble that I’ve had buried.”

The police were unable to recover all of Kirstie’s body. “I found an oar in the barn that Chris didn’t destroy – Kirstie used to have a boat. I stuck the oar in the ground to mark the spot where she is. Even though the house isn’t there, it is in a way.”
___________

So now, three years later, the perps have identified Chris Foster as a child/sexual abuser (of his own brother, no less).

It seems they are putting renewed effort into this story, to get some extra mileage out of the psyop. But I wonder what the underlying intention could be? More gun control again?

More likely the 'State' wants to interfere with the upbringing of children, so that they, the children, are not 'interfered' with and don't grow up to be gun-toting madmen.
At least that is what they will let the sheeple believe.

Yes, it is quite possible to kill with a .22 rifle (not that I endorse this media story).

The ferocious fire completely gutted the Fosters' home, destroying the roof, the floors and internal fitments.

Yet the CCTV recording equipment not only survived that inferno, but caught "Christopher Foster" in the act:

Fancy that.

Below are two photos of the apparent blaze at Osbaston House, taken from the website of the Daily Mail:

See: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... nsion.html
  • The fires just do not seem real - the inferno in the house looks photoshopped.
  • None of the windows have any framework remaining. That wouldn't happen. At least some frame timber would survive.
  • With so many firemen on the scene, a blaze of that scale could be under control in minutes. Yet they lounge as it rages.
  • The firemen seem disinterested and detached from the rest of the image, as if they are not really there.
  • None of the fireman are identifiable.
  • In photo #1 the firemen appear totally unfazed by a ferocious fire seemingly raging just feet from them.
  • In photo #1, the smoke or steam rising from the porch looks very unnatural, like something from a Hammer horror movie
  • In photo #2, the water jet follows an impossible trajectory.
Image

Image

These photos are completely faked.

News Team International Ltd is the photo bureau claiming ownership of the images. The directors took over the bureau in April 2008, just four months before these photos were "taken". Soon afterwards, the bureau went into liquidation.

The Foster family did not exist.

So what could the Osbaston hoax be about?

Guns are bad - don't have one lying around or you too might get so depressed you'll flip and kill your whole family.

My dad told me the other day he'd handed in one of his .22 rifles to the cop shop (and he gave the other one to a friend just recently). Bet you it was straight after this or after seeing a documentary on it - I'll check with him tomorrow about what possessed him to do that and get back to you.

(My house caught fire years ago - builders, blowtorch, birds' nest - don't ask! - much smaller area affected than pictured in this case - it took fire brigade at least an hour to get it under control. So much smoke/steam in the pictures we have of it. I'll dig the pics out of the album and scan them - I think they'd be good for comparison.)

This was way before the days of Photoshop!

I'm in total agreement with you BTW - those images look very fake to me. As I recall all our window frames were still there when I got back from school and it was all under control - like I said I'll look out the pics.

Ha, just realised I'm sitting in the room where the fire started and these are the original sash windows - unless they replaced them with identical ones we have through the rest of the house. Again, need to consult the old folks on that one.

(All I really remember was the firemen being really sweet and trying to make like it was all a bit of fun so us kids weren't too freaked out - they had a hat chucking competition and one guy lost his in a tree. Our house was really knackered when we got it so parents weren't that fussed when it caught fire - mum was really pissed off because they kept rescuing a load of our shit furniture she would rather have claimed for!)

The window frames of Osbaston House were all removed (digitally) before the place was "torched" (digitally).

Below is an article from the local press (now deleted from the newspaper's archive).

The newspaper interviewed Brendan "Wiggy" Wignall, the headmaster of the school purportedly attended by "Kirstie Foster", the teenage vicsim of the "Osbaston Massacre".

Headmaster "Wiggy" Wignall is desperate to snuff out local reports that Osbaston House was derelict and boarded-up when it was "set ablaze".
Kirstie Foster Did Not Die in Front of Her Computer Headmaster Reveals
Wednesday, 10 Sept 2008
Border Counties Advertiser

Brendan Wignall.. the headmaster of Ellesmere College, where tragic 15 year-old Kirstie Foster was a £16,500 per year student... said there were a number of rumours circulating and being published about the tragedy.

Wignall said
"I can quite confidently dispel some of the rumours that are circulating about the tragedy. Kirstie was not sat at her computer when her father shot her and the house was not barricaded, the gates to the property were blocked but the house was not boarded up.

Mr. Wignall has also revealed that the house had not been boarded up from the inside just before the fire, as had been widely circulated...
Thanks for clearing up the confusion, Wiggy!
