In the mainstream news here in Norway the silence on these events is deafening.
- Edgar J. Steele, controversial 1st Amendment lawyer, framed by the FBI for plotting to murder his wife.America is finished. The American dream is dead.
We've been had, folks. Most of those aware enough to be reading these words know that, however. It's the others, the ones who won't get off the couch, turn off the TV and start thinking about what really is going on, who are the real problem. To them I say what the old codger on the porch in the remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre said: "Yer already dead. Yer jist too stoopid to know it!"
The last entry on his website reads:
Regarding the frame-up of this particular defender of freedom of speech...There is a change afoot in America and throughout the world - I know you can feel it - but it is far from being enough, as yet. Not until I see "normal" people marching in the streets with pitchforks, rocks and firebrands, just as now is taking place in Thailand. Not until I see guillotines erected across America as the French did two centuries ago, with the bankers, politicians and other establishment mainstays being cycled through them.
Only then will America be ready for leaders such as I. Only then will we be ready to take back America and make her our own again.
Within a week or two of Steele’s arrest, it was increasingly evident that the attempts to concoct charges against him had been botched. When his wife listened to the tapes that allegedly ‘prove’ he conspired to kill her, she noticed that there was no inflection in his voice and the background noise changed when he was supposedly talking about a “murder-for-hire” plot.
Here is the site ran by his wife, who the Federal Government claims was the target of the plot: http://www.free-edgar-steele.com/On June 11, 2010, Edgar Steele was arrested and charged along with a second man in connection with a alleged murder-for-hire plot targeting Steele's wife and mother-in-law. Steele's wife stated that her husband is innocent, and the only reason the (Federal Bureau of Investigation) put him in jail is to silence him.
To those who think this is OK behavior because of Mr. Steele's articles and "opinions" I remind you all of the good old saying
On a side note.....I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-11943192KBR last year pleaded guilty to paying $180m (£115m) in bribes to Nigerian officials prior to 2007, when it was a subsidiary of Halliburton. The firm agreed to pay $579m (£372m) in fines related to the case in the US.
But Nigeria, along with France and Switzerland, has conducted its own investigations into the case.
Keep on rocking in the free world guys
