Its Thatchers fault - all the landlords made billions from extortianate rents. It was all about the kickbacks. If you had a regular wage job you couldnt afford anywhere nice to live, stay unemployed & the state pays for you to live in a palace. Wages are still so shit that many are still much better off having a few kids & not working. Sell a few drugs & dodgy DVDs and you're laughing. The black market runs many cities in the UK, the cops & goverment let it slide 'cause they know its the only option for millions. If they legalised drugs, then burglary & looting of the wealthys' property would sky-rocket 10million %... The UK wealth-divide is worse than ever. For a little island, the UK probably still has maybe 5 of the top 20 wealthiest companies worldwide; Shell, BP etc, whoever 'owns' those companies now, theres still plenty of UK shareholder billions stashed away tax-free in the channel Islands and Bahamian bank accounts. No-one in the cities gives a shit what colour your skin is. The London riots are nothing to do with race and everything to do with poverty & inequality, even though the powderkeg that kick-started it was the racist cops constant racist 'stop & search' abuse of mainly black kids, plus of course, oh yeah; blowing away the dude in Tottenham with their automatic Heckler & Koch...
I pretty much agree with most of that, but to blame it all on Thatcher is falling into the Left/ Right paradigm mind set.
I think Blair has been far worse, at least with Thatcher you basically knew what to expect (except sale of state assets & poll tax) where as carpet bagger Blair betrayed all the hope of those that voted for him, & fraudulantly involved the UK in the Iraq war.
From what I can remember Britain has always been similar to that described above.
In the 60s Harold Wilson had a go at trying to change things but ultimately failed.

Trouble is when these riots happen we normally get a bunch of left wing academics on the TV, at a round table discussion talking the same old boring shit.
Whats needed is for them to get out of their well funded comfort zone, & try to educate people about false flag terrorism, media fakery & how the bankers control governments via their tax exempt foundations & think tanks.
This being a favorite sketch about academic liberal do gooders solving hooliganism. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04clpd7h ... re=related
