What a classic! Have you seen these 'reporters speaking gibberish' videos?
There is an eerie consistency in the way they 'create' words on the fly.

What do you think? Software glitch? Dyslexia style teleprompter fail?
Edited, but still won't embed, so just the links.

ADMIN NOTICE: Dblitz, I've embedded them (check out how it's done) but the second video just seems to be offline right now.. (-simon)

I think we should make a parody web site of the kinds of idiotic arguments we get against us and have it clearly marked as parody but just to show the sort of crazy shit we are up against. As Simon recently said on his chat with a bunch of people, humor is something we have working for us! That guy doing a Fatzer impression alone was hilarious and worthy of something like The Onion.

Oh Lux - it's a bit unfair to make fun of that poor lady reporter, especially now that she has gracefully clarified what happened :lux wrote:Yes, this is my favorite ...

Ah, I see now, Simon. That certainly explains it.
But, kidding aside, I find it interesting that the media had to try to justify this gaff. Does it represent a peek behind the curtain of the nature of the control that is exerted on these talking heads, I wonder?

Vandalism or Performance Art or PsyOp?
Anne Frank books across Tokyo have been modified and/or destroyed depending on how you look at it, with sections of pages being ripped out, creating a new "post-apocalyptic" aesthetic beauty of presentism, a movement which focuses on the irony of information as the world goes through just as many ups and downs as ever despite supposed mass knowledge of popular topics. Such as the holocaust.
http://news.sky.com/story/1215172/anne- ... -libraries
Although this has been reported in many places as the possible work of right-wing extremists, the manner in which the books are torn seems to me to be a bit deceptive. Is this a Jewish group building onto their victimhood mentality they find so useful in politics? Either way, it doesn't seem to hurt their agenda of holocaust stories since, like Berlusconi getting harmlessly sprayed with ketchup in a mock attack, it creates public sympathy and outrage rather than clearly communicating any kind of anti-propaganda message. Or does it?
Maybe this doesn't belong in the art corner, but there is something therapeutic about gazing at shredded propaganda. Perhaps it is art!

Post-modern humanity, the pinnacle of hominid evolution, in a nutshell:
It´s not even properly a joke. Remember how Michele Cardoso was posting on Facebook while she was suffocating to death inside the Kiss Disco?

Re: The Age of Media Fakery: Art Corner
Further to my post regarding artificial Facebook entities being inexplicably used to add realism to the marketing of non-existent consumer products (see http://cluesforum.info/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=1695, I see now most of the pixel-zombie FB Profiles and timelines used in that curious 'non-sales campaign', have disappeared completely off the Book of Face. Was it a honeytrap, an artwork, a market test area? Who knows, but it will be going on elsewhere, now.Flabbergasted wrote:Post-modern humanity, the pinnacle of hominid evolution, in a nutshell:
Facebook is of course an astounding tool for societal monitoring, manipulation and compliance in the context of real society.
Following-on from the belief that there are of course software APIs commercially available for the purposes of collating exploitable demographic data from Facebook, there will certainly be other much deeper and darker uses to which it can be put.

I am concerned about the behavior of CitronBleu, lately, as well. There is a message in the DERAILING ROOM about why he has been temporarily banned now.
I do like the above cartoon, though.
