Who is "you" ? You? When you go outside the US? How many times a year does the POOP visit the Lebanon? Lebanon is not the World! In what capacity do you visit the Lebanon?
The "poop" didn't go to Lebanon frequently but in 2012 when he did it was a major national event and Lebanon has a Muslim majority. My point was just that I don't see why it's shocking to anyone that people still pay attention to the pope/Vatican when it's such an obvious major player in this manipulated reality we live in. And I am American Lebanese so my family is the reason I visit Lebanon. I didn't say Lebanon is the world, I was using it as an example as it is something I was personally familiar with though I imagine that there is similar fanfare when any pope makes international visits.
Poop Bentdick XVI has called on Christians, Muslims and Jews to "root out" religious fundamentalism, on the first day of his trip to Lebanon.

Stockholm Syndrome. Hopefully someday Lebanon, and the rest, will wake the fuck up from their dreams of slavery. We don't need no stinking poop or any other fucker telling us what to do.
Amen!

That is totally disrespectful. Even if you don't believe in any God, there is no reason to make mockery of believers, whether they be Shinto, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and all the others. Faith comforts people and if you, yourself, do not have faith in God, that is your freedom.

Discussing the power and the abuses thereof of different religions is one thing because these have happened but to make mockery of the "plebs" belief is not on.

It is, however, relevant to the purpose of this site. Religious "Faith" softens people up to be lied to, exploited, manipulated and abused. I like to think that I am mature.
The early christian converts were "lambs" and "babes in christ". I found the first 2 minutes of "Fist of Jesus" amusing, but the rest was droll. It is true that religions have a social
function, but this is independent on the "belief", which sets the different groups to war- each being certain they are following the "true" religion. The Dalai Lama correctly
asserts that man should follow the religion of his family rather than convert to Buddhism if that would estrange his family.

I suppose we've all heard this one by now, but just to keep with the lightly celebratory atmosphere, here's one my friend told me the other day:

Actually, the Pope stepping down isn't such a big deal. Catholics usually pull out before they're finished. :P

Interesting subject matter from our Kev, he can't wait to talk about how after 9/11 George Bush, invited a young gay journalist (Jeff Gannon) to spend the night with him at the White house, and how both Bush Senior & Junior have sex with under age male prostitutes.

Must be another dog & pony show being set up for our salacious minds to enjoy.

Aha, I think you mean he would never leave his young friend's behind? Gross, but astute - communicates the pedophilia ring protected by the church.
