Iceland Volcano

Unread post by D.Duck »

Guys,

Why is there a need to photo-shop pictures from this volcano?

http://www.kortnieuws.com/2010/04/aswol ... el-europa/

We also have a "volcano ugly face" that Ozzy understand why its there and I am sure he will get a big laugh.

http://www.bt.dk/nyheder/her-er-vulkanens-onde-ansigt

How much in Taxes are going to save us from these catastrophic and horrific events in future.

I am pretty sure some jerk will show up soon and have a solution to get us out of fear mode but it will come at a price so be ready to open your wallets.

And if you are not ready to open your wallets now, we have a 3 times bigger volcano close to this one that can get water bombed so we can cancel flight not only in Europe but all over the world and make life a living hell for you for many months or until you understand what the deal is: PAY MOTHERF#CKER

My Ozzyvision is not yet working properly. Could you post the relevant picture(s) and point out where and what is photoshopped? Thanks.

As for the rest of your post - thats probably what's gonna happen.

Martin,

Look at the picture with the yellow cat digging grass, lol.

http://www.kortnieuws.com/2010/04/aswol ... el-europa/

Now look at this picture that is supposed to be from the same spot.

http://gulfnews.com/polopoly_fs/iceland ... 571081.jpg

Do you see what is not adding up? Now don't get the idea that one is real and one is photo-shop cos both can be photoshopped.

Sorry for not uploading the pictures but I cant get it to work, maybe they are protected or something.

That's my man Martin in record time.

There is not one picture of the supposed ash to be seen anywhere except right above the crater and no one I have talked to in Scandinavia has seen anything fall down on the streets.

The Military guys just want to play for themselves and not be disturbed by people sitting in airplanes asking what the hell is going on.

We now have a new thing called ash-screen instead of smokescreen, lol.

Brilliant Mariner presents a realistic scenario with challenges for the commanders at sea including maritime security, embargo and humanitarian operations, asymmetric threats and ‘terrorist’ incidents.

Exercise Control at Northwood’s role is to lead the escalation of the crisis, monitor the safety of the units at sea, guide NATO and the ‘opponent’ forces and play out a variety of incidents to which the units have to react, including medical, piracy and logistics scenarios. Exercise Control also has to adapt the scenario to take into account real world events such as the cloud of volcano ash currently hampering air activities.

Regular serving members of NATO’s Armed Forces stationed in Northwood have been augmented by members of NATO’s Reserve Forces and journalists providing a simulated press function.

Earthquakes, volcanoes, and bears, oh my!

The BBC quotes some official claiming that this disaster is "worse than 9/11" in terms of shutting down civil aviation.

At least the UFO's and Space Aliens haven't landed yet. Perhaps this will finally be the right Rockefeller/CFR crisis to unite all of humanity.

Not sure what focal distortion is. There seem two probs, a size difference and one of the relative positions of the objects. To my knowledge, zoom brings foreground and background towards the focal point, squashing the image into a narrow depth of field. I can’t suss the relationship between the two supposed camera positions, but it doesn’t seem that there’s enough foreground in the large pic to squash up to account for the dramatic enlargement of the distant mountain in the inset shot. Meanwhile, to my knowledge, zoom will not change the heights and dimensions of objects in relation to each other; an object that is 50% bigger than another will always be so, one that is lower than another will remain lower. I assume the distant mountain is supposed to rear up above the closer one on account of a difference between the vertical positions of the cameras relevant to the mountains; higher position for the inset shot, making the more distant mountain appear higher in relation to the closer one. But the viewing angle doesn’t look different enough to generate such a marked effect, does it?

That bckground mountain looks pretty damn suspect, even allowing for some heat-wave distortion.

RTV images of the/a volcano erupting and other bubbling earth shots. The first eight seconds are from a 1960’s Bond movie with appropriate, in fact baffling, sound effects. The last few seconds return to this audio/visual incident.

This from BCC's As It Happened report has that Photoshop cut-in line around the smoke. Or can it be explained otherhow?

The disruption to airlines is taking up a lot of ‘news’ time. Why am I hearing about airlines all the time? Why are so many ‘reporters’ and cameramen bundling off to airports to film bored and frustrated passengers? Why don’t they paddle off to Iceland? It’s a very limited focus. Is this another case of focussing on the effects to prove the event, not to mention drumming up some financial skulduggery?

The Brilliant Mariner exercise has to get you thinking, too. Something’s erupting. I would really like to hear from someone from the almost uninhabited icefield of (‘scuse me while I copy and paste] Eyjafjallajoefull . Do they have internet?

Fred,

God knows how many UFO the Fighter Jets has chased on this military drill when they were alone in the skies, lol.

Nick Pope, used to be head of Ministry of Defence in UK, talks about Fighter Jets chasing a UFO in UK.

This is getting really silly.

Most of Europe have been closed down.

http://edition.cnn.com/video/?/video/wo ... copter.cnn

The helicopter flight. First of all it's a lie it is the first day clear enough. Second at 0:18 he says it is like from another world.
Something we have heard before....??? ;)

0:22 - 0:25 "hundreds of feet high" well that is kind of expected. The thing is that they are talking about the vulcano sending the ashes 6000 - 8000 meters up. That's is somewhat a little more than some few hundreds feet.....

0:49 "The eruption is huge".........then we see a picture with ash cloud some hundreds feet high and nothing more than expected from the vulcano.
