Re: Airplane crashes/ hoaxes/ conspiracies
There's another discrepancy in these photos. In the first set of photos below, the cars are parked like in a normal parking lot. Look at the long line of cars, with their backs or fronts facing the open aisle: http://i1083.photobucket.com/albums/j394/boethius4/acrash7_zpsaoey4lvy.jpg https://twitter...

Re: THE "CHATBOX"
How's things, everyone? Any good fakery discoveries and/or stories lately? I know this isn't strictly media fakery, but I've been reading The Histories by Herodotus. It’s unsettling how basically everything he says is myth, yet it's often cited or credited as being truthful or potentially truthful....

Re: The (non-religious) dinosaur hoax question
how one leaps from a handful of faked dino fossils (compared to the millions of real, well-studied by uncompromised honest researchers, fossil findings -counting every tiny bone as find-) to "everything is a hoax" still baffles me. Even if the progression of thought here is potentially wr...

Re: NASA'S FLAT EARTH DBA STRATEGY
I just wish to state - for the historical record - that as I started to look into the GRAND NASA SCAM back in 2009 or so, I was able to find one - and only one - article on the entire worldwide web questioning the ISS - by one amateur astronomer, 'Alexander'. Here's the original link to it : http:/...

Re: THE "CHATBOX"
What is one, single, supposedly strong argument for the existence of dinosaurs? I am not talking an answer like "fossil record" or "oil". I mean one, single well-documented and proven case of a dinosaur bone being found, examined by peers, proven to be the age claimed, and so on...

Re: THE DERAILING ROOM
I know I only have a dozen posts on this forum, and I understand entirely it's not my place to say it, but if the intelligent design/evolution discussion in the dinosaur thread continues, is it possible to splinter it off into it's own thread? That thread, should try and exist as an examination of t...

This must be a hard position on the back. http://i.imgur.com/dGsJeBD.jpg Who would ever take/keep a photo like this, where everything in the picture is in focus except for the sim himself. Its a nice even blur too, all the way from the head to the feet. Yet the guy walking in the background is not ...

Re: Nazca Lines as a Hoax
I should've added this to my earlier post, but for those not too familiar, the Nazca Lines are not only the famous line drawings of the animals, but they also include thousands of lines running through the desert. A picture like this shows a nice mixture of them all: http://i1083.photobucket.com/alb...

Re: Nazca Lines as a Hoax
What's your final position on this? Your post isn't clear. You say that they're real, but they were built while they were underwater? It'd be nice to see some of the pictures of the changes of the lines over time as well, just as more evidence of a possible fakery. I've never really put much thought...

Re: Nepal Earthquake 4/25 - 2015 (at 11:56am)
I wonder if things like this earthquake are partly true, partly fake. Can't really make much sense of it all. I see what you’re saying, it’s ponderous though that they can only show it to us sped up. You can’t even watch it, as it happened, in real time. And not only in that initial clip, but just ...

Re: NASA - the tallest of all tales
That first video is morbidly beautiful in an absurd and twisted way when you really think about it. It begins with a styrofoam-like rotating satellite directly on the set beside the reporter, and what is probably some voice actor off-stage making the whirring noise. That's all some real War of the W...

Re: Minor Media Stories: Theater of the Absurd
Here’s a story from May of last year that made headlines for a few weeks of a hot air balloon festival in Virgina, USA. One of the balloons was descending to the ground, hit a power line and caught fire. The basket was set aflame and was destroyed within minutes, yet because of the fire adding heat ...

Next time someone asks me what on earth we're trying to achieve with all our efforts here at Cluesforum, I'll probably just answer: "ataraxia"! Truly, I don’t think that wikipedia quote quite precisely defines the term. Ataraxia was not exactly eschewing faith in an afterlife, but underst...

Re: Velikovsky, Fomenko, and the reinterpretation of History
Or what about a brief timeline showing when things were supposed to happen? This is just my example, and I likely have the concept completely wrong, and not trying to put words in his mouth, but just trying to jam everything into 500 years or so: 1500 AD: humans come into existence (do they begin in...

There's a cleaner version of the John Oliver-Edward Snowden interview on Youtube for those who like their sims in high-def. Although it's the episode itself and not the longer interview previously uploaded. Snowden walks in at 15:55 XEVlyP4_11M One thing I noticed In this video (at 2:00 in the other...
