Re: THE "CHATBOX"

^ Hmm .. the above author basically gives a review of my opening post of the dinosaur hoax thread. He makes no specific mention of the posts that follow. His conclusion: By the time you've read this far, you're so far sunk in the mire of paranoia that you would probably begin to doubt that gravity e...

Re: Ebola baloney

I think it should be mentioned that Hollywood set the stage for this hoax with a number of films, most notably "Outbreak," the 1995 movie starring Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman, etc:

Re: THE "CHATBOX"

Those that give their blood and jail time do not do so in vain. Movements and revolutions are still important, no matter if it doesn't hurt the top of the pyramid. Maybe we occasionally do have to struggle "under boot" and make ourselves appear as alive as we are — which is more than the ...

Re: The (non-religious) dinosaur hoax question

I also think this "scientist" has a few nervous ticks at the end of the video that give the game away. :) Yes, I agree. His body language is very telling. He doesn't look straight ahead at the camera when he speaks but only gives a sideways glance with furrowed brow as he fiddles nervousl...

Re: Satellites : general discussion and musings

Aren't all NEAs further away from Earth than the Moon? If so then all "satellites" that transit the Moon's path would be seen passing behind the moon rather than in front of it. Yet I have seen a number of YT videos that show "satellites" transiting in front of the moon. I realiz...

Re: Satellites : general discussion and musings

I think the idea is that there is a period of time when the sun is below our horizon (and thus night time) but an object at a high altitude can still be illuminated by direct sunlight. In other words, the higher one's altitude, the later the sun appears to set below the horizon. Like this only much ...

Re: The (non-religious) dinosaur hoax question

So, here's a video and article about a recent important dinosaur find in Castle River area of Canada: x0R2LtI6ojE Accompanying article . OK, so this dinosaur fossil-bearing boulder weighing over a ton was found in the Castle River by “some fishermen.” Unfortunately the fisherman are not shown or int...

Re: Miscellaneous NASA comedies

I think you guys are being too hard on NASA. What may seem to us to be mundane pointless activities are in actuality brilliant tasks carried out by geniuses whose intelligence far outstrips our own. Take, for example, NASA's own staff sniffer, George Aldrich. George was born with an unusual protuber...

Not if the reasons for this opinion are stated (which they are). Have you read the thread?

Re: Miscellaneous NASA comedies

I am unfamiliar with human beings that aren't pattern-seeking animals. Not sure finding a pattern indicates it was put there. I agree, hoi, but in this case I think it's more than just finding a random pattern. For most Americans the month of October has a very strong association with Halloween so ...
