Re: Einstein and other gods of science
Of course you're right aa5, I doubt whether investigating the engineering premise of GPS would turn up anything that could be used as 'proof' in conversations with people - 'because science' etc. It's more personal curiosity really, as I believe satellites are not possible, therefore I'd like to und...

Re: FUKUSHIMA nuke/tsunami scare 11-03-11
Great stuff, UNreal, thank you for posting this. I just read the material you linked to, and it then reminded me of an album, 'N-Plants' by electronic music artist Biosphere ( https://biosphere.bandcamp.com/album/n-plants ). Mr Biosphere managed to make a whole album of music based on Japanese Nucle...

Re: THE NUKE HOAX
I haven't read this long thread so this may already have been posted: How realistic is the theory that nuclear weapons are a hoax as the referenced film implies? -- https://www.quora.com/How-realistic-is-the-theory-that-nuclear-weapons-are-a-hoax-as-the-referenced-film-implies I would strongly reco...

Re: Einstein and other gods of science
That is an interesting idea to set an overall goal for yourself, that will require you to learn much of how it works in order to accomplish the goal. I guess you will have to break that big goal down into small parts, then research each part. So far I'm mainly reading on alternative science sites, ...

Re: Einstein and other gods of science
It does rather appear that when various 'big science' concepts are written about, it requires a leap of blind faith to get through. In reality, I think that if it feels like a rabbit hole, it is a rabbit hole. Einstein's 'amazing discoveries' are a good example, as are the various proclamations of ...

Re: JFK Zapruder: a proven fake
Anders, your post reads as though you haven't taken the time to read any of the thread you have replied to, never mind any other threads on CF dealing with this subject. Is it too much to ask that you read all of the previous discussions before making a decision on whether to post on a subject?

Re: The Age of Simulation
The NASA budget for 2016 was I think just under 20 billion dollars. Bearing in mind they don't actually go into space, 20 billion buys a lot of front and employs lots of pliant employees to keep up appearances, and still have lots left over to line the pockets of the suppliers, who themselves only s...

Re: The Age of Simulation
Fair point about Snowden - but I would suggest the main reason why they have to use ordinary technology is because there isn't any 'secret tech'. The classic urban myth that's been around for decades is along the lines of 'the military always have tech 50 years ahead of civilians'. I call bullshit o...

Re: The Age of Simulation
I really don't think it's about the tech at the core of things. It's about psychologically manipulating individuals and groups through information. The tech allows more ways to execute an operation today, but does not need to be way beyond what we are aware of at the moment, for the simple reason th...

Re: Parenting In the Simulation Age
Whether what they showed on TV for the Challenger explosion was real or fake, I watched it 'live', and recorded it (they showed it a lot of times) and then fired up my synthesizer, drum machine, and 4-track tape recorder and made an electro sort of track with the ground control to shuttle conversati...

Re: Is an "earthquake machine" being used?
Whilst I would very much doubt that earthquakes are being stimulated in specific places and specific times, it looks very feasible that it could be done less accurately. The USGS information would support the theory that in an already earthquake prone area, some 'help' could be given. The recent Ita...

Re: Satellites : general discussion and musings
The Big Bounce indeed.... that massive balloon thing reminded me of the discussion quite some time ago in the ISS thread, of somebody reporting that they could see it with a telescope, but it's perfectly round..... http://cluesforum.info/viewtopic.php?p=2376538#p2376538 On the other hand, I think th...

Re: THE "CHATBOX"
I stay well clear of these conversations with work colleagues, I work for a large American corporation here in the UK, and there's even a guy who claims to have been on one of the bombed tube carriages on 7/7. I like being able to support my family a lot more than taking on that sort of tussle. Outs...
