I think it has been mentioned in this thread or in some one related, but it seems that free expansion of gases cannot produce any work, in physical sense. There is a pretty good discussion here: https://www.physicsforums.com/threads/work-done-by-gas-in-vacuum.725702/ So, the idea is that work is don...

Re: Amateur Astronomy: What can we see?
I've checked Crow777's YT channel, and while the 'hologram moon' hypothesis is a bit too much for me, I've found an interesting point in one of the comments of the videos. Namely, the existence of tides. We've always been told that tides are caused by gravitational pull of the Moon, and, to a lesser...

Re: Mirrors on the Moon - a Hoax?
If the laser was just a centimeter wide hitting a mirror on the moon, the mirror would have to be very precisely angled back to a single receiver on earth, which would then be affected by the seasonal wobble or else it would deflect off into space missing earth or at a minimum missing the dish back...

It's this one (in Spanish only): http://biblio.upmx.mx/library/index.php?title=301010
They didn't print a lot of them. I think I could scan the one I have (it's not too thick), but I'd need some time.

Re: Barcelona August 17 2017
Also, getting something done in Spain in August is nearly impossible... everyone is on holidays. Now seriously, I've been briefly involved in politics (not in parties, rather from the NGO side at a local level) and I got a grasp of how the system works. It won't come as a surprise to readers o...

Re: Barcelona August 17 2017
Being a Spaniard, I feel 'entitled' to comment upon this. First of all, I've followed it only by social media and internet news. I almost don't watch TV. In all, I think it would be very difficult to fake such an action due to being a very popular and visited area in the town. But still there are ma...

Re: Hubble or Bubble?
A couple of years ago I visited the "Museo de las Artes y las Ciencias" at Valencia (Spain). One of the main attractions was an iMax film about the Hubble repair mission. This one: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubble_(film) It was really impressing. But after skimming this thread, I googl...

oops, sorry! It seems we're in different timezones, so a lot more than two hours have elapsed since you posted. Anyway, I'll research more on the topic.

Re: The Clues Chronicle — help decide the threads to read!
OK, so here I go. First, let me state that I'd like to raise some questions that anyone would ask when confronted to the 'fake satellites' hypothesis: · How does GPS work, if not by picking signals from a satellite? · How can a satellite dish work, only when pointing to a given point in the sky that...

Re: Fakery in Orbit: THE I$$
OK, I'll post here some calculations I've made in order to ascertain what's that bright dot that can be seen some days at dusk. http://www.heavens-above.com/ gives for a 'good' pass over my location a relative magnitude of -2.8 at 600 Km. More or less, I can agree with that. Using this tool http://w...

Re: Satellites : general discussion and musings
Yes, it's funny that despite being so close to the launch site, those girls don't seem to be affected by the turbulence that such a xl-sized rocket would cause. Nor do the bushes in the Guyana launch, which are just being swayed by a gentle breeze. BTW, I've found some bloopers in the ISS guided tou...

Altair, I can't help but wonder if all these satellite proponents are appearing just in time for Clues Chronicle 17 coming up soon ... you definitely came here on your own accord without assignment or suggestion from someone else, right? (...) Right, I found cluesforum googling about Apollo and ISS...

Oops... just doing some more research I've found this vid of the Hispasat launch, a recent one from Jan 27th. DP4igkKhZtE Please notice the comments at 3:30. It seems the girl who is narrating has noticed that the control center is giving the confirmation of the major events with a significant delay...

Re: Satellites : general discussion and musings
Hi Cluesforum! I'm new here and like to be controversial by saying I DO believe satellites exist. It felt funny to write that :). I am with you on 9/11, NASA and Nukes but not this and I don't think this thread brings up strong arguments against man made satellites. Yes most of our communication go...

I'm from Spain, 40+ software developer and systems administrator, with an MsC in Software Engineering, but interested in all kinds of technology. Got here after I saw some videos about NASA hoaxes, which up to that point I've never considered as such, but after lots of googling, it became clear to m...
