Re: Introducing the TYCHOS

I must say that I'm rather baffled about the apparent meager interest (on the part of this forum's members) with regards to my TYCHOS research. You may attribute the purchase from Switzerland to me Simon - bought as a christmas present for myself. I'm looking forward to plunging my brain into its c...

Re: Does Rocketry Work beyond Earth's atmosphere?

This really sucks! I wrote up a lengthy reply to Macaria which I deemed could be very valuable to the forum as a whole - I clicked preview and the whole thing I spent valuable time on is gone now as the website asked me to login again. This is NOT the first time this happens to me here dammit. Dear...

Re: THE CANCER DECEIT

@ glg The way you mentioned the 'hoax aspect' of the thing and, over there at the psychiatry thread, the 'cancer Business', I expected you to elaborate on that. Was I wrong, or are you going to keep it up your sleeve for a while? Neat how you discovered my personal preoccupation with the subject of...

Re: THE CANCER DECEIT

The specific disease doctrine is the grand refuge of weak, uncultured, unstable minds, such as now rule in the medical profession. There are no specific diseases; there are specific disease conditions. - Florence Nightingale In truth there is only one force . In perpetual alternation the same circl...

Re: THE CANCER DECEIT

Indeed. I just re-read this thread and my picture/hypothesis on disease (cancer, leprosy etc) stays the same. The conditions in Norway during the 19th century were harsh because of the Napoleon wars and trade embargoes which meant starvation and since it's a fishing nation lots of bad and poorly co...

Re: THE CANCER DECEIT

Cancer?!! What NOW??? The solution one comes up with depends strongly on how one looks at the problem. To see this, consider your favorite puzzle or even better, a well executed magic trick. A world-class magician produces surprise and delight by negating everyday experience and shattering the rule...

Re: THE PSYCHIATRY DECEIT

I don't think this has anything to do with ¨free market¨ in the least, certainly not if ¨free market¨ is understood in a literal sense. You might say there is a point when the billionaires who benefited from free market capitalism to get to where they are find it advantageous to transition to monop...

Re: THE PSYCHIATRY DECEIT

Is this an indicator of what to expect from the free market, ultimately? An example of the problems of meeting increased sales and profits, year on year? It cannot be done naturally. Most products will plateau (naturally). But, the investment rhetoric suggests that unless growth is sustained you sh...

Re: What is Gravity?

The only thing I can hypothesize is you're messing up releasing it somehow. Yes agreed. If you drop the hammer in a position as far out of balance as possible it will gradually turn towards its heavy side and quicker as if you dropped it holding it somewhat more balanced but, as you are right with ...

Re: What is Gravity?

We're both being dumb I think. The centre of gravity is irrelevant because unless some external force disturbs it the body will keep moving in whatever orientation and direction, as per Newton. There's no lighter or heavier, that's the whole point of the experiment! The centre of gravity doesn't re...
