Wow!
Disgusting and shocking.
That suit does look fake though, no “cup-holder”…
The MOON HOAX
Re: The MOON HOAX
"I know a bloke who went there!" To which you all reply FUCK OFF.
How can you land on an atmospheric phenomenon? The other morning at 6am I noted that it resembled an upwards facing Rainbow.
My bestest anagram ever. Danah! Space Toilet >>>>> Police State

Re: The MOON HOAX
As I have written in the past, I think the idea that people can thrive on 100% oxygen at reduced pressure is a dangerous hoax within the space hoax. The suit systems must provide an artificial atmosphere (100-percent oxygen for breathing and for pressurisation to 3.7 psi)
Re: The MOON HOAX
Why so? It's fine to breath pure oxygen at reduced atmospheric pressure afaik. Everest climbers do this for example. Perhaps you are confusing it with the problem of breathing pure oxygen at increased pressure? It becomes toxic at about two atmospheres.Seneca wrote: ↑Sat Sep 04, 2021 9:22 pmAs I have written in the past, I think the idea that people can thrive on 100% oxygen at reduced pressure is a dangerous hoax within the space hoax. The suit systems must provide an artificial atmosphere (100-percent oxygen for breathing and for pressurisation to 3.7 psi)
How about derailing the last comments after the sunglass pocket including this one?
Re: The MOON HOAX
One reason is that you need carbon oxide in your blood. See for example https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypocapnia
Afaik Everest climbers use their oxygen supply in combination with normal air.
Divers use it perhaps but not for a long time. The longest spacewalks are supposed to be more than 8 hours.

Re: The MOON HOAX
Not saying it wouldn't be insane to have a pure oxygen atmosphere as they claim is used in the space station. The fire hazard for one thing would be enormous. But to say it would be particularly medically harmful to breathe pure oxygen at reduced pressure is simply incorrect. https://science.howstuffworks.com/question493.htm
Re: The MOON HOAX
Maybe you are right, and I am indeed confusing the toxic effects of the high-pressure oxygen atmosphere that was supposedly used in the Mercury and Gemini programs and at the start of the Apollo program.
Edit: it seems the higher pressure was only supposed to be used during launch. " The pressure before launch was deliberately greater than ambient in order to drive out the nitrogen-containing air and replace it with pure oxygen, and also to seal the plug door hatch cover". Sorry about that. In that case the insane part is the fire hazard that you mentioned.

Re: The MOON HOAX
Seneca, Yeah I mean space travel and ISS is one crazy story in many ways. Imagine using computers and electric equipment in a pure oxygen environment. One spark, even only electrostatic - boom. Fatty foods like peanuts will actually oxidize so quickly in such an environment that they can self combust. And come to think of it, even though breathing pure oxygen might not be a problem at least not up to 48 hours, living in a pure oxygen atmosphere is a completely different story. An impossible oxidation hell story I'd say.

WHAT EXACTLY IS GOING ON ?
Dear all,
The other day - as you may have heard of - a Russian probe failed to land on the Moon (apparently crashing on landing - or whatever).
Today though, we were told that an Indian probe successfully landed on the Moon.

You've got to love this quote from the female TV commentator:
"We can see the honorable Prime Minister (Modi) who is here to encourage us - and... he is critically looking at the visuals".
I'd love to hear the opinion / feelings & insights of my longtime Indian friend (and CF member) Gopi about all this.
Gopi?

I don't think those images are meant to be real even by their standards, Simon. They are obvious artist renditions and I don't think they're trying to pass them off as anything other than that.

Dear anonjedi, my questions were not referring to the obvious digital imagery - but rather to what this new 'Race for the Moon' is all about, what with Russia FAILING to land their probe only days before India apparently succeeded...

Re: The MOON HOAX
I saw "moon landing" yesterday on twitter and I thought oh wow which former astronaut said something stupid on straight flags or the cameraman during the Apollo "mission".
Well no,India landed.
It's quite funny, how silent NASA is on it (you would say this is a world wonder for them, maybe they consider the footage risky even for their tastes)
I just saw a small repost of a Senator.
https://twitter.com/NASA
Also Musk says nothing on it. Funny right?
It's almost as if the Indians are going rogue with this spectacle, on the other hand the Europeans are in on it, ESA posted extensively about it.
I was wondering, is there anyone who believes this? And then I read the comments on it, on Twitter, on Youtube and it seems the vast majority of people believe this.
As a propagandist you can do whatever you want it seems. Push some 1983 visuals.
Then we are allowed to talk on, why does it take 40 days to come to the moon for the Indian mission?

(something to do saving fuel costs and changing orbits and gravitational pull)
It keeps surprising me, do people really believe this? It seems they do.

Zooming out I think a revamping of the (coordinated) cold war narrative is playing out.
Russia (a few days ago)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6fYgpt-4kg
China (2 years ago)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rms3T4C2gRQ
Now India.
I think we see more actors now; Russia, India, China, The West (US & Europe)
The narratives are similar:
- Nukes (a nice boost with the Oppenheimer movie)
- Climate change
- Pandemics
- Space race
- The constant tension of war; Taiwan straight, East Ukraine, Tibet (China/India)
And all political actors seem to be in on these.
What could be happening is that the new "cold war" looks like this; Allied (US & the European puppet states + India) vs Axis (Russia + China)
Nothing major will happen, but the elites can expand their armies, their power, their taxes through the increasing threat of the other side. We will see a constant threat in media by the other side. We have seen that playing out already in the last 5 years on Russia and China.
Especially the 4 main actors will do well; Russia, China, US, India. (all 4 went to the moon now)
They are also the ones with the most "Nuclear weapons"
The axis block, unified in the SCO, with China and Russia as it's leaders.
The allied block, with India and the US as it's leaders.
All these countries preach modernism, go after the same cultural hypes (climate change, pandemics, liberalism, socialism, science, nukes, moon and mars missions) so they are essentially the same; There is no inherent conflict.
I think it will provide the international elite with the stability for the next 20 years or so. Just like the "cold war" provided stability after WW2.
I think any political actor who is not denying this obviously fake Indian moon landing is in on the scheme in some kind of form. It's almost like an initiation ritual.
2 + 2 = 5
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2_%2B_2_%3D_5
And it's logical, as any country you need to pick one side of the line. Which side do you pick? (China + Russia) or (India + US/Europe)?
Whatever side you pick, you sign up for fake nukes / fake space missions / fake wars / fake pandemics / man caused climate change.
Curious what you think.

Re: The MOON HOAX
In addition to the cold war and bloc politics, all this sudden "space travel" and "moon landing" activity (they seem to put their missions together as fast and easily as Pfizer makes new clot shots) may be mental programming for the upcoming alien invasion theater. All the big nations of the world scuttle around in space easy-peasy, so ETs obviously have no trouble with propulsion in the void. It also comes at a time when NASA's trite moon landing hoax is in dire need of a booster.
The current narrative has something to do with searching for water on the Moon with which to make rocket fuel. I have some water in my backyard they can have for pennies. Sigh.
Re: The MOON HOAX
It is most likely for the election, as the last one was to shore up support for the government when they kicked off their regime in 2019. They went for the feminist angle for it as well by showing women at the launch.
Modi's ratings were tanking for the upcoming 2024, especially in Bangalore. He traveled everywhere in the city and still flopped in the local elections. They need some media blitz... and hence the moon stuff to the rescue.
The video itself is cringeworthy and utterly vacuous.

Thank you so much Gopi for sharing your thoughts about this - as I value them very highly.
To our new CF members: please know that my longtime friend Gopi is a most brilliant physics professor (now living in the USA) who graduated with the highest marks at the University of Bangalore.
Bangalore (Wikipedia) "The city is considered the pivot for high-technology-based heavy manufacturing industry, with numerous large multinational technology corporations setting up their headquarters there. (...) Several state-owned aerospace and defence organisations are in the city."
I remember that when Gopi came to visit me many years ago in Rome, he was already skeptical about the Indian "Space programme" - since he had seen on TV (in the context of some earlier Indian 'rocket launches') a number of alleged / high-ranking professors claiming to be from Bangalore University whom he had never heard about...
