No problem, Heiwa! I'll be there! I think we should charter a small boat to cross the short distance from Porto Santo Stefano to Giglio island. I can arrange that (but let's split the expenses, ok?) Nonho? Will you join us?
Please forgive me for intruding again with the skepticism that this forum taught us to apply to all events.

In this case the "Event" we were sold is that a ship ran aground, continued to traveled further on some sort of ludicrous circular journey (instead of stopping immediately to assess the damage), and then keeled over on its undamaged [fat chance] side so passengers could escape.

How can dropping an anchor on the undamaged side cause the entire boat to keel over? If that were possible, every ship would keel over whenever its anchor dropped.

How does seeing a broken boat in the water at Giglio with your own eyes indicate the Event happened? When a broken plane was tied to the side of the Hudson River for a while, it did not mean the Sullenberger plane-ditching Event we were sold actually occurred.

This is just too silly to be real. Coincidences my butt.

Once again. There is no preconceived idea here. There are certain hypothesis, and plenty of posts in this thread to account for all the unanswered questions.

Nobody here is defending the official story, critically or uncritically. If the ship is really there, it means just that. The ship is really there. The twin towers did collapse, didn't they? So, perhaps, and probably, for convenience and plausibility, this boat did sink. This is just one part of the story. As to how it happened and why (insurance fraud+vicsim scam+psyop? what else?), or how the boat got there, and whether anybody really died in the accident, is another matter.

We probably have on our hands a wonderful case of media fakery here. If it doesn't happen to be a 100% digital fakery case, but something more complex, simply put, we ought to know. The ins and outs. Verifying whether the boat is really there seems to me a pretty important step, in order to move forward with the investigation -- and showing a bit of support wouldn't hurt.

The "Costa-SoapOP|era" now also does include a so called mystery woman with the rare last name CeMORTan [akronym or synonym for .. ?], obviously to diffuse the whole story and make it more complicated,
also to distract from much more, other convenient fakery incl. the possibility of a "***0-event****"

In case you've read recent tabloid updates which refer to facebook as an additional "source",
i couldn't locate *her at all in any kind of spellings on facebook yet and only wanna note, that of course she also looks different on all her photos ;

I keep the scoop from different news snippets short : "...Domnica Cemortan did not state if she is Francesco Schettino’s girlfriend...Domnica [other sp: Dominica] Cemortan is from Moldova. This week, she first appeared on her country’s Jurnal TV...Dominica Cermotan is telling news that Schettino was not in the ship’s bar at the time of the crash. Rather she claims, that when the ship hit the rock, Schettino was on the deck with her..."

[note: officially Jurnal TV was founded in 2009, broadcasts via french EUTELSAT [current CEO deRosen has ties with ABB|Swiss-Swedish, Rhone-Poulenc (France) and Aspen Institute [which also runs and pre-established the Obama Cabinet).]
EUTELSAT is basically a hub of Arianespace/CNAS, with strong links to some rockets contracted by Astrium, an EADS company.

(("...The company administration says the project is financed by a group of German investors...
the real owner of Jurnal TV is unknown to the Moldovan society...))

They might also test the popularity of High Definition (1080i) television, which was started as a so called "experimental broadcast" on their Moldtelecom IPTV Platform, which happened only a few weeks ago, on 7 December, 2011 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jurnal_TV].

**1080i is directly compatible with some CRT-based HDTV television sets ; LG Display|Korea (+ Dutch company Koninklijke Philips Electronics ; *2000-mother of Blu-ray ) and Samsung Display|Korea,
have innovated CRT technology by creating a slimmer tube.

(((another tidbit, according to new "protocols", the so called blackout *before the incident was *now confirmed, and the captain plus Costa officially informed this company-> at http://www.ilmasub.it/ , to fix the "damage", re: http://www.corriere.it/cronache/12_genn ... 45db.shtml )))

It's great that three members are willing to investigate this story in more depth. How about providing a Donate button or some kind of payment link, so that the rest of us can contribute in some way?

I don't know if the others have a donation link of their own, but Simon has one here, at the very bottom of this page: http://www.septemberclues.org/contact.htm

nonhocapito wrote:also thanks for the Jean-Luc Godard connection -- i managed to get my hands on that movie a few days ago but, being Godard devoted to trolling his audience as we all know, I found out that the movie was beautifully shot, and there were great images of the concordia in it, yet the movie was unwatchable and incomprehensible for me. I skipped through it without understanding anything. :)
I may be oversimplifying but I took Goddard's overarching theme as the rut that Europe finds itself in (or that the media want us to believe Europe is in). He even used cut scenes to ram the message home. There is a lot of philosophising, regret, lack of hope.

I take it you started skipping before the eighth minute? :P

There is also a cut scene where the word Hellas (Greece) is split into Hell As.

I just remembered this film as well, which features a quite ridiculous dramatic ending: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Talking_Picture

Violinist saved children before dying in Concordia cruise ship disaster
A Hungarian violinist who helped crying children into their lifejackets aboard the Costa Concordia is the first identified victim of the cruise ship disaster.

Sandor Feher, 38, disappeared after he went back to his cabin to get his prized violin, pianist Jozsef Balog has told authorities.

His body was found inside the wreck and identified by his mother who travelled to Italy, according to the Hungarian Foreign Ministry.

Feher was working on the cruise ship just a month after posting a video on YouTube asking for a job and talking about his passion for teaching children the violin.

He came from a musical family, he said in the video: both his father and grandfather played the violin. Feher had started playing the violin when he was 6.

What's with sympathetic violinist stories and famous shipwrecks?

The three members got reduced to two, as I couldn't manage to be there! But I just heard from Simon, who, as I write, is sitting at a restaurant on Giglio island with Heiwa, looking at the ship. He had pretty interesting stuff to say. Looking forward to his report and pictures.
pdgalles wrote:I take it you started skipping before the eighth minute? :P
er... evidently. Thanks for the screenshots. Pretty interesting. Maybe the movie had some hidden messages after all. Since it has been filmed before the Lybian war, which in a sense could also be described as a french operation directed against Italy, I wonder if there are suggestions in that sense too, maybe in the parts dedicated to north africa.

Well the coincidences linked to the Titanic "disaster" are just ridiculous at this point. We have seen the distant relative, the new version of the movie coming up, the little acts of heroism, even the suspicion (or rather, the pre-cooked conspiracy theory) about the master being distracted or guilty of some nefarious intent... now the violinist! Hungarian, of course! <_< The gut feeling about this story being a psyop based on fakery is getting stronger and stronger by the day.

(We have been having since last september a thread about the Titanic being a faked event, here: http://cluesforum.info/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1106 Right now I am even spooked by this coincidence.)

Meanwhile, continues the drama of the ship being unstable, and the threat of "choppy seas": http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/ar ... 4d58bb.261.
Certainly something the people are supposed to focus on, while the EU (or at least, Italy) actually sinks,or passes more draconian laws and taxes to survive?

Hi-res pictures of Concordia on Cryptome: http://cryptome.org/2012-info/costa-concordia/0041.htm

The weirdest thing to look at is still the boulder stuck in the ship, which simply makes no sense:

Image

Image

Where's the broken side? How can it be so smooth? Shouldn't the smooth side be the one stuck into the hull?
All it looks like, is a single rock taken from a sea wall and stuck there, either in reality (maybe even before the ship started sailing that evening) or with photoshop.

So we have established that there is a ship. What then of the passengers, victims and amount of possible fakery involved thereafter?

This thing is huge.

Image

The scale of these people looks right.

Image

These people however look extra large to me ?(but I am not in the honours class when it comes to image analysis here :( )

Image

The above is a screen grab taken from night vision footage from ITN website below (silent)

full link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBr-T89M85Q

Further, on some of these 'night vision' clips there is audio recording? Why would a helicopter night vision system include audio recording as all you would hear is the helicopter?? I am not saying they don't, but it doesn't make sense. This is much the same footage as the ITN stuff above, but 'helicopter sounds have been added ? Hmmmmmm

Further...

UTC = GMT - this real time marine shipping tracking website places the Concordia near its final position at 2012-01-13T21:02:00 (UTC) .. a full half hour before it is even supposed to have hit the rock 2 miles south of this location??

Image
Zoomed in pic of above from marinetraffic.com..
Image

Finally how on earth was this stabilizer not ripped off by the rock and rock outcropping before the rock lodged itself firmly into the ship?? It may be a little lower and forward but even still did the ship hit the rocks while doing a hand brake turn?? (image posted by noho earlier)

I am seriously puzzled by this piece of rock.

How is it possible for it to be so perfectly shaped? Does this really look like something violently eradicated from the bottom of the sea? From genuine rock formations?

What if this is riprap, picked from a sea wall, and stuck there on purpose before the ship even began its navigation from Civitavecchia? I ask to the ship experts (namely Heiwa when he'll read this): could the Concordia theoretically sail the short distance to Giglio island with this boulder stuck in the hull, for the purposes of a scam?

On 17 February 2010, SV Concordia encountered what the vessel's Captain called a microburst some 550 kilometres (300 nmi) southeast of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in rough seas and high winds. The vessel was knocked onto its side within 15 seconds and eventually sank 20 minutes afterward.

E la nave va (And the Ship Sails On) (1983), Federico Fellini

A luxury ocean liner embarks on a voyage to the island of Erimo, carrying various aristocrats, composers, opera singers and performers as they take the ashes of famed soprano Edmea Tetua to be scattered at the place of her birth.

>> Sandra Rodgers lost husband's ashes in escape: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-nort ... s-16648829

We are introduced to this menagerie of the rich and the very rich by Orlando (Freddie Jones), a journalist who, like us, looks in from the outside, and acts as a narrator throughout. He wanders the ship with a cameraman, attempting to interview the passengers, but more often than not, merely observing their behaviour.

Perhaps the strongest focus of the film is on the absurdity of the upper classes and their ignorance of what is happening in the world.

The rescuing of the Serbian refugees on the third night seems the perfect opportunity for a social commentary on the class divides, but such juxtaposition is rarely offered easily. One of the few exceptions is when the Serbs huddle outside the dining room, peering through the windows as the elite dine to excess, which is followed by an unexpected gathering of the two groups on deck. As both mix freely amongst an atmosphere of music and dance, this is possibly the first indication that all on board are now aware that everything is about to change. Indeed, as the ship sails on, carrying the last remnants of this bygone era of luxury and extravagance, the film's final scenes become all the more poignant.

Poseidon (2006), remake of The Poseidon Adventure (1972).

The suspenders is killing me, no news from our intrepid reporters in Giglio? Have they perhaps fallen into the local Irish pub?

Another piece media BS for the record, "The Captain FELL INTO a lifeboat, which went ashore".

Nah, Brian. I am back home in fine shape - but off to bed now (Heiwa should still be on the road driving back to France). Full report tomorrow! :)
