Alef, my friend - perhaps a little explanation of the cucumber terror is in order for our non-European forum members...

As it is, there's a new food scare doing the headlines over here these days - the "Killer-Cucumber plague".

Apparently, cucumbers imported from Spain have been ruled the cause of death of a few people around Europe (of course, the "Swine-Flu" scare was soon exposed as a Big Pharma scam - and this should be no different - only sillier still).

In fact, as I went shopping today, a big sign was up at the supermarket entrance:

"We wish to inform our kind customers that all cucumbers sold in our stores are of Italian origin."
