Naudet Original Broadcast

It has taken less than 10 years to pry open the can of worms enshrouding the pathetic 9/11 scam. The central role of the major newsmedia corporations to pull off this sordid "terror" simulation has now been comprehensively exposed. I haven't used any compressor, I just opened the file in virtualdub, selected the clip, cropped to selection, made an avi with it in *direct stream* (which means, changing nothing from the original format).
Maybe you don't have the codecs for that format?
I use this codec pack on my system: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/k_l ... c_pack.htm

I tried to recompress the clip like you ask, but for some reason virtualdub won't allow me. I guess the codecs I have are good for decoding, not for encoding. Or I am not savvy enough to pick the right codecs.

Without getting too technical, I know that file has something wrong because it shows in 4:3 while being 16:10 and yes it gives a warning in virtualdub (not a crash for me) BUT, if you use the codec pack I mentioned AND Media Player Classic (included in the pack), you should be able to open it. I have no problems on my PC.

Here is a new torrent file.

This is a larger thing that contains:

1) The whole CBS original VHS converted by Hoi in FLV (new version), and re-converted in AVI (using the "Pazera FLV to AVI converter")

2) The whole DVD version (or at least what I think comes from DVD)

3) The whole 2006 version + extras (in the conditions I have found it, might give you problems if you don't have the right codecs)

4) clips of 1st and 2nd hits from all three versions

the overall size of the release is 2,84GB and I hope those of you who can leave their PC running will join in seeding these files.

Torrent page on the Pirate Bay:
http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/5914259

Torrent page on Isohunt:
http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/232530281

[removed the link to demonoid]

Isohunt has it removed, thepiratebay link doesn't work for me and Demonoid says registration is closed. Any luck getting some other link to it up? Sounds like a nifty package.

? Isohunt has not removed this torrent. It is still there.
direct link to the torrent file: http://isohunt.com/download/232530281/9 ... et.torrent

Piratebay is unreachable in certain countries (such as Italy), I don't know about the U.S.
Anyway, this is usually a joke since the website is easily accessible by using a proxy. A web proxy like http://free-proxy.me will do ( others to be found on http://proxy.org )

Demonoid, yes, it requires membership. I put it there only in case someone was a member. [EDIT: I removed this link to avoid confusion]

Anyway, the torrent is going to require 3 or 4 days of constant uploading before *anyone* can have this package in its entirety, after which I am confident this torrent will sustain itself.

Right now 25 peers are downloading it so it looks good. Upload is slow, I hope everyone will be patient.

Hoi: if you solved the codec (or whatever) problem and need the new clips I can send them to you via skype.

Whew! I'm glad that the torrent was not removed.

Here's what happened to me. Look at the two links you posted:

First, this: http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/2325 ... WTC+Naudet

then: http://isohunt.com/lite/files/232530281 ... C%20Naudet

When I clicked on the first one you posted - I am not sure if you edited it since then - I got the "copyright" page that is just the default of that site, followed by the result as so:

http://isohunt.com/lite/#q=9+11+WTC+Naudet

Which gave zero results.

Anyhow, I'm getting it now and so hopefully those codecs and the full version or some combination thereof cure the "crash" problem. I am making the video now ...

P.S.: The thePirateBay.org version is also up and running for me now! Maybe I was too quick on the draw and tried to access them before they were populated to the full network?

Hoi! you are right. There was an error in that isohunt link. It was based on a research on the tags so it worked for a while but then it expired or something. A correct link would be the same one, but only the first part to the torrent ID:

http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/232530281

also on the "release" page, which has the description of the torrent:

http://isohunt.com/release/545117

sorry about the mishap. In my defense isohunt is quite a foggy complicated website.

Does anyone have a high-quality version of the Gamma Press "first hit" that was featured on Sept. 11? It was aired on CNN I believe. There is some small 320x240 thing on YouTube.

Does anyone have a copy of Naudet without the "airplane"?

I brought it up here previously --

http://letsrollforums.com/north-tower-r ... t8624.html

- but the files have been removed from the BBC and CNN servers.

Here are the defunct links

http://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/1535000/v ... ash_vi.ram

http://www.cnn.com/video/us/2001/09/12/ ... gp.med.ram

Being a complete video noob at the time, I was only able to extract a gif from the ram files above. Currently wracking brain to remember where it is!!

God I wish you had that. I will include it in the video if you can produce it.

The low quality would suck but it can at least be addressed.

?

wow i feel such a geek on this forum :D

those links are not dead... at least the bbc one ".ram" file is still there and it contains information to get to the video (just save it and open it in notepad)

video is here: rtsp://rm.bbc.net.uk/news/olmedia/1535000/video/_1538186_wtc_firstcrash_vi.rm

you need a player that can stream from rts protocol, such as MPC or VLC. I opened it with MPC and it worked. I still have to find a way to save the file offline, but I am sure there is.

True you see no plane but the quality is so low (208x108) you don't see most of anything -- 2001 streaming sucked

Is it so bad that the compression could conceivably be hiding the plane image between pixel information? Like the airplane's image was distributed to rectangles basically?

Because then it's just an issue of compression.

well, you judge, here how the scene looks with the video at 100% zoom

Image

** EDIT: I couldn't save the stream, however I made a MPG video capture of it and uploaded it to youtube.
Here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjBDugD35o8
(youtube automatically enlarged the original size, nothing I can do about it.)

In case youtube decides to delete it, the MPG is also shared on this lame file-hosting service (if you know a better one *please* let me know):

Can you elaborate on this? What is the Gamma Press first hit? Can you share the youtube link? Maybe there is a good version of it in the NIST cumulus.

(Talking about the NIST cumulus: in the "CNN presents" folder there is a clip (clip 46) that shows the 3 "paratroopers" in video. I didn't know this existed, it is pretty ludicrous...)

BTW, here's the so-called Gamma Press shot -"2nd hit" that I know of. (Don't know what Hoi calls the "1st hit Gamma Press shot?)

As shown on BBC

As shown on FOX... :P

And here - side by side with the "Sean Adair" shot (compare North face lighting...)
