I know this may seem stretching it a bit but at 0.47 to 0.50 the guy on the right walking towards the camera looks as if he has an 'all-seeing eye' on his belt pouch!
Maybe someone can confirm if this is just an 'optical' illusion and whether these pouches were standard issue.
The pan up after 4.18 is very phallic! Presumably demonstrating USA's superiority over their perceived enemies.
The 'shock-waves' after the 'explosion' are truly...shocking...
With all the 'before' and 'after' shots of the trucks upended after the 'explosion' surely the military realised all they needed to do was to put troops in large rubber tyres as these seemed relatively unaffected by the 'explosion'.
Maybe http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1612774/ tells the story of what happened after? :(

Ah yeah, it does resemble an 'eye'. Looks like it's just the effect of the flap shape & toggle catch though:

They seem to be regular soldiers, probably filmed on various contrived 'training' exercises and edited into the Disney-esque footage.

I forgot to add that the original film was silent (all ready for dubbing with an emotive propaganda script and pompous narrator, no doubt). The Youtube uploader added the tracks: "In Front of Me" by Infected Mushroom & "Bleeding Me" by Metallica

Maybe that phallic smoke they're blowing up our....was what inspired George Carlin.

To convince yourself that USA hasn’t invented and has never used the atomic bomb as announced by President Truman in August 1945 and that an atomic bomb does not work at all, you should read the book “The Last Train from Hiroshima : the survivors look back” by the American writer Charles Pellegrino, 2010. Charles has 60 years later interviewed (?) survivors from the alleged atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and produced a fantasy product. Some survivors from Hiroshima actually took a train from Hiroshima to Nagasaki also to survive there according Charles. A train Hiroshima-Nagasaki 1945? To go by train from Hiroshima to Nagasaki 1945 you had to take a local train to Shimonoseki, then the ferry to Kitakuyushu, another local train to Fukuoka and a third local train to Nagasaki. Not easy even if USA had forgotten to bomb the railway bridges in Japan 1944/5, which would have stopped all land transport and the war then. Most Japanese ships on the other hand were already sunk in December 1943 (and the war was lost), so to go by ship or ferry 1945 was not easy. Can we trust the surviving witnesses? Can we trust Pellegrino? Or is it just another Hollywood 911 fantasy? The last train!!! Very Hollywood.

According Pellegrino an atomic uranium bomb exploded over Hiroshima at 08.14 hrs on August 6, 1945. It was ignited using cordite in some strange arrangement. During some nanoseconds a charge of some kilograms of refined uranium 235 thus “exploded” above the town and released energy equivalent to 12000 tons TNT in the form of one single heat and pressure wave that advanced at 700 m/s. As the Hiroshima Ground Zero was about 7 000 meters in diameter, 38.5 square kilometers of Hiroshima disappeared or was flattened in about 5-6 seconds by the atomic bomb (according Pellegrino). Of course survivors (??) just below the atomic bomb impact tell us a completely different story. They not only saw the “bomb” dropping in a parachute and observed the blue (or red or yellow) FLASH and heard the explosion, so they could take cover (earthquake style) in order to first survive and later go looking for family members, friends, etc, etc. The steel bridges over the rivers at Hiroshima were generally intact and … the trains were running! A lot of burnt people with ‘crocodile skin’ and burnt trams and trucks were seen in the streets. Why were they just burnt and not vaporized or blown away by the pressure/heat wave of the atomic bomb?

It is more probable that central Hiroshima (a mainly residential area of wooden houses with straw floors and paper walls and no heavy industry) 6 August (and Nagasaki 9 August) was destroyed, i.e. burnt down by a US standard napalm carpet bombing attack (99 previous such attacks are recorded + plenty ‘crocodiles’ (burnt people) in Japan) by say 500 B29s during the night between say 03 and 05 hrs. To be able to find some ‘witnesses’ of something else (the atomic bomb!) a big magnesium bomb was exploded over Hiroshima at 08.14 hrs, etc, etc, so that witnesses could be produced and tell about a sudden FLASH and a mushroom ash cloud. That the real destruction took place hours earlier using napalm had to be forgotten.

If an atomic bomb could actually explode in the atmosphere, it would just produce a pure FLASH of clean energy but no dirty MUSHROOM CLOUD of any sort. Only conventional explosives, e.g. TNT (or magnesium) burning oxygen produce a dirty MUSHROOM cloud of smoke and dust and ashes. Intelligent people should also know that an instantaneous chain reaction (during nanoseconds) of all uranium atoms in a big piece of uranium 235 started by one neutron cutting one uranium atom into two and releasing two free neutrons that immediately cut two other uranium atoms, etc, etc, is impossible. Uranium can only be split in an atomic reactor of a power station type Fukushima with no smoke or dust released (just energy/heat). If you lose control of that reaction, e.g. due to too many neutrons released and/or lack of cooling water, the temperature will just rise slowly, steam be released and the uranium will melt and drop through the bottom of the reactor chamber. No automatic, superfast chain/bomb reaction will start.

The Pellegrino fantasies are hilarious or LOL. We are told that US scientists dropped letters to Japanese scientists at Hiroshima at the same time as the bomb is dropped … and that the letters were picked up on ground (zero!) and delivered to the right people! It sounds like Atta’s passport being picked up in NY 911! Some Japanese survived Hiroshima and went on to Nagasaki by train and survived there too. It is a little 911 of it already 1945. All these witnesses, having seen planes colliding with skyscrapers and skyscrapers ‘collapsing’ from top down in fountains of smoke and dust, are just lying and promoted by media. And types like Charles Pellegrino.

I assume President Truman actually believed that USA had and used two atomic bombs 1945 and fooled himself and everybody by announcing the lie. The only reason was apparently to give Japan a chance to capitulate at once and allow USA to occupy Japan. Because USSR led by Stalin was just ready to attack (and occupy) Japan from the back on August 11 with 2 million soldiers, 10 000 T34 tanks and 4000 war planes and ships just relocated from defeated Germany. So concerned parties agreed USA had an atomic bomb, Japan gave up and USSR was stopped to occupy Japan. As nobody is really finally responsible for anything in Japan, the psy-op worked well in August 1945. Young, clever Japanese executed any work well decided by senior Japanese … and nobody was or is responsible. That’s why litigation is unheard of in Japan. Nice country Japan – I spent my early professional years there and enjoyed every minute. Kampai! Banzai! And Stalin quickly understood the psy-op and … produced his own atomic bomb a little later. Good news is that no real, working atomic bombs exist. Except in Hollywood. Bad news is all US generals believing in an atomic bomb.

The Pellegrino book is written in the style of a Hollywood movie. Big action at beginning, clever people surviving and moving around bravely below exploding atomic bombs, then more action, blah, blah, and 60 years later the brave people remember the horrors of the past. But the trains are still moving in/out of Hiroshima. The last train was just an early 911 lie.

I have always been particularly intrigued by the idea that senior officials up to the U.S. president might have been convinced of the actual reality of the Atomic Bomb, and maybe even convinced of secret encounters with UFOs or whatever else the military or the agencies responsible decided to have them believe.
Assuming the Nuclear hoax secret is or was safely guarded even from the curiosity of the american elite, it becomes easier to understand why the american nuclear armament appears to be handled and controlled (if that story is true) by a foreign, Israeli, firm: "Mega Security Systems", as if the American Government were not capable to provide such security itself. http://kavkazcenter.com/eng/content/200 ... 8910.shtml

Reasons why USA got away with the nuke hoax 1945 was total censorship, i.e. no Japanese witness at Hiroshima/Nagasaki, i.e. the two Grounds Zero, was permitted by law to tell about the ‘horrors’ to anybody incl. journalists, etc, and the towns were virtually sealed off, etc. Media just had to repeat the Truman’s lies of August 1945. Same applied to any allied soldiers associated with the action. Shut up, or … .A friend of mine (sailor RN at the time) tried to visit Hiroshima in October 1945 (curious tourist!) but was not allowed to enter. To fake further evidence, e.g. medical records of radiation and similar, was/is child’s game. Visits to the ‘atomic bomb’ museums at Hiroshima and Nagasaki are recommended. Not much trace of any atomic bombs there, actually. It seems the 911-museum has opened at NY. It will have similar problems.

And it seems Charles R. Pellegrino is a hoax! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_R._Pellegrino

There is the strange case of USS (CA 35) Indianapolis.

That ship carried the atomics bombs to Tinian Island.

She arrived on 26th July 1945 and on the way back she was hit by a Jap submarine.

A very strange alone navigation for a cruiser.

A very strage hit for a Jap submarine.

A very strange contingency for survivors.

Very strange.

US dismantles most powerful nuclear bomb

Image
[US dismantles most powerful nuclear bomb]
WASHINGTON: Technicians in Texas closed a chapter on the Cold War on Tuesday, dismantling the oldest, biggest and most powerful nuclear bomb in the US arsenal, officials said.

The last B-53 bomb -- built in 1962, the year of the Cuban missile crisis -- was dismantled at the Pantex facility in Amarillo, the only place in the United States that still builds, maintains and dismantles nuclear weapons.

Grey in color, weighing 10,000 pounds (4,500 kilograms) and as big as a small car, it had the power to wipe out an entire metropolitan area with its nine-megaton yield when dropped from a B-52 bomber.

By comparison, the atomic bomb that destroyed the Japanese city of Hiroshima in the final days of World War II packed a yield of 12 kilotons, or 0.012 megatons. The bomb killed more than 100,000 people.

"It's significant in the sense that it's the last of these multi-megaton weapons that the nuclear powers used to build during the height of the Cold War," said Hans Kirstensen of the Federation of American Scientists.

"This is the end of the era of these monster weapons," he told AFP.

Dismantling the B-53 bomb -- retired from service in 1997 -- involved separating 300 pounds of high explosive from the uranium "pit" at the heart of the weapon, Pantex spokesman Greg Cunningham told AFP.

"The world is a safer place with this dismantlement," Thomas D'Agostino, director of the National Nuclear Security Administration, said in a Pantex statement.

"The B-53 was a weapon developed in another time for a different world" and its "elimination" marks a major step in President Barack Obama's efforts to scale back the role of nuclear weapons in US security policy, he said.

Last May, the United States revealed for the first time the actual size of its nuclear stockpile -- a total of 5,113 warheads as of September 30, 2009, the Pentagon announced.

That figure -- a 75 percent reduction from 1989 when the Berlin Wall fell -- included active warheads ready for deployment at short notice, as well as "inactive" warheads maintained at a depot in a "non-operational status."

Under a new strategic arms limitation treaty (START) treaty, agreed in April last year, the United States and Russia -- which hold nearly all nuclear weapons -- pledged to reduce their arsenals to 1,550 warheads each.

The B-53 bomb was so big that a B-52 bomber could only carry two of them. Each was fitted with parachutes to control their descent, according to videos made public by the National Nuclear Safety Administration.

"This particular weapon should have been phased out and dismantled a long time ago," said Kirstensten, director of the nuclear information project at the Federation of American Scientists in Washington.

"But it was allowed to linger in the stockpile because it had an important mission -- knocking out underground targets" by cratering the surface with its awesome force, he said.

The most powerful US warheads today yield around 1.2 megatons, fitted onto guided missiles.

The total number of B-53 bombs ever manufactured is still classified information, Cunningham said, but the nuclearweaponarchive.org website put the figure at 350, with 50 stockpiled in 1997.

It was replaced by the B-61 bomb, a mid-1960s design with a variable yield of up to 340 kilotons, the website said. (AFP)

I don't get the reasoning for using parachutes to "control their descent."

Maybe they used parachutes so as not to dent the thing too badly when it landed so it could be re-used for more propaganda photos, etc.

It was a US bombing innovation 1960 = laydown. The parachutes were there so that the bomb could land - lay down - on top of the target (a bunker 15 m below surface) and first then EXPLODE! BOOM!

Crazy!

10,000 pounds
It was supposed to have weighed 10,000 pounds? How many pounds of TNT or even more powerful explosive substance would it take to imitate the effect of an atomic bomb? Maybe it was just filled with 10,000 pounds of cordite or something just to create a deafening effect for them to photoshop and exaggerate later?
