It happens on the 11th of April, naturally...
5:56 PM local time, blast at a metro station in Minsk, capital of Belarus.
Early video by RT, with some cellphone afterblast imagery

Once again that number 11, that other channels are confirming, seem to be the official number for the time being:

The "bodies piled on each other" is a classic, isn't it.One witness said yesterday: “There was a large flash and think smoke. I fell on my knees. When I got up, bodies were piled on each other.”
Witnesses accounts in this other video:

According to the second witness, the bomb exploded in a wagon, and caused the collapse of the escalator.
http://news.xinhuanet.com/english2010/w ... 824668.htmAccording to the officials, the explosive device was under a bench on the platform opposite the second carriage of the train moving from Victory Square to Independence Square. "The bomb was packed with metal balls with a diameter of about 1 cm."
Some pictures like the one below show the square where people seem to gather for the event (nothing happens in Belarus, bombs are a way to socialize).
I just suppose smoke should be coming out of the metro entrances, but it is possible they forgot to photoshop that in.
