I find it "interesting" that the way a false news item is put together is so transparent and here you can almost see the cogs turning - "post a huge, "high quality" photo of the "captain" on a blog (i.e. not a news source, so can't be fake, right? )and have the "blogger" doubt the veracity of the image but then notice a "subtle detail" (here - the name tag) that proves the non-fakery...

Wake me up when they change the script.

All passenger ships shall be fitted with Voyage and Voice Data Recorders (since the Estonia incident 1994 - http://heiwaco.tripod.com/news.htm) !
Here's what the system records:
• Speed log – Speed through water or speed over ground.
• Gyro compass – Heading.
• Radar – As displayed or AIS data if no off-the-shelf converter available for the Radar video (it gives ship's position at any time).
• Audio from the bridge, including bridge wings.
• VHF radio communications.
• Echo sounder – Depth under keel.
• Main alarms – All IMO mandatory alarms.
• Hull openings – Status of hull doors as indicated on the bridge.
• Watertight & fire doors status as indicated on the bridge.
• Hull stress – Accelerations and hull stresses.
• Rudder – Order and feedback response.
• Engine/Propeller – Order and feedback response.
• Thrusters* – Status, direction, amount of thrust % or RPM.
• Anemometer and weather vane – Wind speed and direction

The Voyage Data Recorder was fitted on top of the wheel house bridge and was never below water and was thus recovered intact after the incident!

Well, the black box or VDR of Costa Concordia is broken. And it seems it was broken since weeks.

You wonder why!

WOW, those infrared images are the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen, EVER! haha. They remind me of Age of Empires or Nintendo 64.

Anyway, my 2 cents of fakery detection.... it looked odd so I was trying to find light reflections on the ship from the water but then this caught my attention....

Costa Con or regular video glitch?

Although... if the boat is really there... why fake this footage?

If anyone's intelligence is not offended by this BBBB ( 'Broken Black-Box Bullshit') - I will consider starting a Brainwash Rehab clinic ! There might be a market for that! :P

This is the alleged phone call made by the angry Capt. Gregorio De Falco (of the Italian coast guard in Livorno) - to the hapless "Captain SCHETTINO"... De Falco sounds like a father-figure scolding Schettino for his inept behavior - as if he somehow already knew of Captain Schettino's inept behavior! What a comedy...

The ridiculously phony, theatrical nature of this supposed phone call should be obvious to everyone. I hope. <_<

An interesting item sent to me by a knowledgeable friend.

The name of the island (Giglio) where the ship went down has 2 origins: lily (Giglio) and 'little goat' (Aegilium). Lily = six pointed star, hexagram, Star of David. Lily is also symbol of the Moon.
Goat =.....well, you know

The island is one of 7 in a crescent moon chain between the coast of Tuscany and the island of Elba where Napoleon was impreisoned in 1814-1815 and gaurded by.....the Brits! What had Napoleon tried to do? Create a united Europe.
But what is the next island in the chain after Giglio? Montecristo!!! The island of 'the Mountain of Christ' It exists.Dumas visited it in the 1840s and named his famous book after it. It's an uninhabited nature reserve which contains only the ruins of a Dark Ages monastery founded by St Mamiliano who reportedly slew a dragon there and founded the monastery.

So the ship sank between the little goat and the mountain of Christ!

The Concordia was carrying 3000+ passengers, mostly pensioners and honeymooners. Pensioners = 'Old Europe'

Carnival Cruises was set up by by Ted Arison http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Arison

Interesting to note that he renounced US citizenship for tax reasons....but.... we are told "However, at the time of his death in 1999, Ted Arison failed by approximately 9 months to meet the requirement of being outside of United States territory for 10 years for the tax benefits of his renunciation of U.S. citizenship to be realized"
He was super rich at the time of his death.

His daughter is Shari Arison - Israel's richest woman.
His son,Micky, is head of Carnival Cruises and also a big basketball team in Miami. He is super rich also.

https://twitter.com/MickyArison

His tweet on Fri 13th Quote "MickyArison Micky Arison
Well it's Friday the 13th-our lucky day. Can't think of a better day to start a @MiamiHEAT winning streak. U agree?? #LetsgoHeat.
13 Jan "

You got that one wrong Micky...or maybe you didn't?

Micky was very busy on twitter this day..

Quote"MickyArison Micky Arison
Absolutely-always safety 1st with our pax RT @clintcarlton: @MickyArison Sir- do you think the Rivera is safe right now to book a cruise?"

last tweet to someone..

Quote "Ok checked with JJ & u r a fraud. Why do people do that? RT @JamesJonesFor3: Game Day!. Adversity Counts . #HeatNation #LetsgoHeat"

Also interesting Carnival Cruises. ABC - 123. C=3. 33. Same as Costa Concordia . CC 33. They love their twined digits.

Lady in black back right has red flash eyes even though she is looking away from the camera.

http://www.photographymad.com/pages/vie ... emoving-it

"Ask people to look away - The red eye effect only occurs when people are looking directly at the camera. Try photographing them from a slight angle, with them looking away from the camera, such as when they're chatting, eating, or dancing."

Even if this is a flash from another camera I don't think what we see is possible.

I think this hasnt been mentioned already, but check this out:
http://m.smh.com.au/travel/travel-incid ... 1qept.html

"A woman reported missing by a Hungarian family in Italy's Costa Concordia cruise ship disaster in fact died three years ago, the Hungarian Foreign Ministry said yesterday."

Whatever happened to this ship, why the hell are there always these odds with the victims whenever a natural disaster, terror act and so on happens.
