Didn't MrSinclair point out (on page 3) that another 'parent of a victim' (Jimmy Greene) was certainly a real person, based on his personal experience, without stirring up a bunch of hostility?
A 'real person' in what way ? Is 'the man with no name' in "For A Few Dollars More" a 'real' person ? Of course not.
But it IS the flesh & blood actor Clint Eastwood.
Here the man named 'Robbie the Robot douchebag Parker' is a character in a movie called 'Sandy Captain Hook.'
Is this a real person ?
How could he possibly be if he's a character in this absurd farce ?
Is Robbie Parker his real name ?
Who cares ?
Is he 'flesh and blood' in real life ?
Most probably, but again, who cares ? The 'man with no name' is also 'flesh and blood' off the screen.
If the character in 'For A Few Dollars More' was named 'Clint Eastwood' instead of 'the Man with No Name,' would this mean it was 'a real life person' ?
Of course not ! It would still be an actor playing a character only named the same as the actor playing him, an entirely fictitious creation, who only shot and killed 30 people on the screen and not in 'real life.'
If there are any actual 'real life documentary events' depicted and mixed into this absurd farce of a movie called 'Sandy Hook' that were not in the original script, you would have to prove them first, and even if you did, what percentage mixed in would have to be 'actual events' before any difference would be made to the authenticity or credibility of a story already so ridiculously fictional ?
In other words, would it make a difference if you shot a movie entirely on location, in city streets, with real life people going on their way with their real lives, while you were playing your fiction for the cameras ?
Of course not !! Hundreds of filmmakers have done that and no one calls something like that 'cinema verite' or even a 'documentary.' It would still be a fake and fictional creation with some documentary locations or elements in the background. Now, the more you interacted with the real people on location, OUTSIDE of your script, the more 'real events' would be added to your fiction and if you make your entire film that of your interactions with people in a real location, then you will have arrived at the documentary stage or 'the fiction of the streets,' a level more authentic and closer to real events in real lives, although, of course, still not necessarily the 'truth' of anything.
