"Onboard cameras capture the amazing journey of Atlantis into space, and the dramatic return
of the solid rocket boosters."
Oh Rlly ?

... let me just express my most sincere thoughts: anyone believing this piece of digital animation represents reality ( i.e - real video footage of the Space Shuttle) is in my honest opinion living in a fantasy world - and accepting it too! Whether this is a good or a bad thing is a question anyone is free to judge for him/herself. But please let your kids (if you have any) also judge this for themselves.

), photograhper 2 must have a had the great intuition to have photog 1 slide over a wee bit and get the amazing shot that you have posted.

Hmmm... So in space, when you do see land mass, it looks roughly the same scale as at ~36,000 ft. in a plane flight... Well, at least now I don't feel like I'm missing out on much if it's not different looking from the greater altitude.

Return to Apollo, and more space hoaxes
